It's not often, but sometimes I have to tap out on TDS. The episode where Dick got his balls inflated, for example, was too much for me. I'm sure that would make Dick happy to hear, too
I know some are down on the show right now (I haven't listened to the latest episode yet), but I think this is just a trough in what is normally a good show. We saw the same thing happen for TPBITU. Remember the episode where all the problems were fucking stupid like horses and snakes? Things will get better and more interesting again at some point.
However, times like this make me wonder when the show will end. We are going on year 4 now (holy shit). I wonder if Dick will stop having fun at some point.
Hearing Dick's reaction to the descriptions almost made it worth it though. Frontline reports of atrocity tourism make for enjoyable filler material imo (at least to the extent that they make both me and him laugh and feel disgusted) as opposed to the uncomfortably long/repetitive ball inflation/autoblow episodes or the sheer boredom of the times Boogie has been on. If the biggest debate reboot does happen and Dick really does plan on using Boogie as a sacrificial lamb to the fires of comedy, I hope he winds up inviting the other regulars in to participate. Chris the kiwi and/or McAffee vs Boogie would more than likely not end well for Boogie.
