Death of Prince Philip - Dead of the Archlich

yeah he was the only interesting one

americans have this weird reverence for the royal family and buy into the idea that they're these sophisticated regal paragons but people in commonwealth countries know better about them- they're a band of intellectually mediocre to sub-mediocre sillybillies rivalled only by boy george and benny hill as the biggest clowns in the united kingdom

that's how harry has been so seduced and manipulated by that narcissistic american octoroon - he just isn't very bright, like the rest of them

philip has been the only one who demonstrated some degree of personality and character, but that might have been because the man was such a walking fossil so far removed from his place and time he only seemed interesting to us on that basis

America was hooked after Diana and Charles' wedding. My mom bought all the tabloids. Those rags have been making crazy money off of royals for decades. They're in a good place now because everyone and their guppy hates Meghan. So they can keep putting her on the cover/online splash pages for the obsessed.

Technically there's places like Canada(godforbid) still under the rule of the queen and I don't see anybody here caring that much. If anything it'll lead to "republican" sentiment in abolishing the monarchy, not that there's any likely chance that would occur.

So does the Prime Minister of Canada obey what the queen says, or how does that work?

It's a shame; he was more likeable than the rest of them.

I'm just tired of being blueballed on everyone but Henry Kissinger dying. I have a bottle of Dom Perignon collecting dust while the devil gets stood up by that fat toad of a war criminal. Sucks that all the really old people who die first are the ones who aren't overstaying their welcome on earth.

Kill all kangz. Guillotine them.
Meghan Markle' s toxic personality did him in.
Either that or the shame of having a halfling great-grandchild.
I expect someone to say this on British TV.

You learn something new every day. This is from his lengthy post-Nixon career:

In September 1989, the Wall Street Journal's John Fialka disclosed that Kissinger took a direct economic interest in US-China relations in March 1989 with the establishment of China Ventures, Inc., a Delaware limited partnership, of which he was chairman of the board and chief executive officer. A US$75 million investment in a joint venture with the Communist Party government's primary commercial vehicle at the time, China International Trust & Investment Corporation (CITIC), was its purpose. Board members were major clients of Kissinger Associates. Kissinger was criticised for not disclosing his role in the venture when called upon by ABC's Peter Jennings to comment the morning after the June 4, 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. Kissinger's position was generally supportive of Deng Xiaoping's decision to use the military against the demonstrating students and he opposed economic sanctions.

He was so close to being 100...
I wonder if he made it to 100 would Liz have handed him his card in person or would she have put it in the post like everyone who got one. Also prince dies women’s sport most affected

I don't even give a shit about if they are a net positive to the treasury. In what world is it fair to have one single family taking lottery winning sums of money from the taxpayer every week for multiple generations, paying for palaces, luxury cars, castles, planes, butlers, chefs, gardeners, maids and drivers, from a population with no ability for the regular Joe to refuse to participate?

The majority of people are net positives to the treasury and society. If the royal family are so fucking wonderful they can run their own business, make all their own money and pay their share the same as everyone else.

The founding fathers had the right idea waving a big fucking middle finger to those parasites. The royal family should consider themselves lucky that in 1776 their entire family tree was not hung.

You sound very selfish, friend. Just because a man lives off the dole, that does not mean he is any less important than a man who can live off his own labour alone.

Every family must be provided for, must have food on the plate and a home to live in - if that home is a council flat or a modestly-sized palace, paid for through taxation? If that food is cold tikka or a tiny plate of caviar, bought with the charity of others? Well, that is part of society's obligations. That is why we pay taxes. So that those on the fringes of society might live a happy and productive life.

Don't be mean and greedy. Philip was a good boy, and the Royals did nothing wrong.

Henry Kissinger will be around while there's youthful blood to draw, so the evil dude, responsible for much death will be about for too long. The champagne will have plenty more dust to gather.

Any other kiwis ever partake in earning the Duke of Ed's award?
Yep, though it's been a bloody long time since I did it and I don't have the fancy bound certificate around any more. I think my dad has it.

Hanged.

Besides, it's impossible for the windsors to be hung. Too much inbreeding.

The moment kissinger dies and starts to rot in hell, expect every liberal source to talk about how great he was and any criticism is just right wing Nazi talking point.

I tell you as who doesn't deny the Holocaust that I hold it to be true that the biggest difference between Ernst Kaltenbrunner and Henry Kissinger is that Henry didn't hang despite the fact that he is triplefold the war criminal. That tub of shit makes Lavrentiy Beria look like a dollar store shoplifter.

Fucking parasites the lot of them. And totally contrary to the idea of a meritocratic society.

RIP, king.
Technically never a King. Philip was Prince Consort, Duke of Edinburgh, and about a hundred lesser titles and honors that nobody cares about (e.g. Commander of the Order of the Golden Ark) - but because his wife was Queen, and Philip was a Dane born in Corfu, he was not allowed to be King.

Yet another victim of institutional racism and sexism... yet he bore his cross with strength and dignity.

Let me correct myself: Rest in power, king.
