We’ll soon be heading back to the future and dining at Taco Bell in a sequel to 1993’s Demolition Man, star Sylvester Stallone teased in an Instagram Q&A over the weekend.

The Marco Brambilla-directed sci-fi/action movie is set in the year 2032, centered on two men – Stallone and Wesley Snipes – who were cryogenically frozen in the 1990s. Snipes plays the evil criminal Simon Phoenix while Stallone plays good guy cop John Spartan, and the two are forced to renew their battle when they’re re-animated in a much different future.

Stallone’s character survives the film, which grossed $159 million at the box office back in 1993, and it looks like Warner Bros. is finally ready to pull the trigger on a sequel!

We’re working on it right now with Warner Bros. and it’s looking fantastic,” Stallone said on Instagram this past weekend. “So that should come out. That’s going to happen.”

You can check out the full Q&A session below.

Press F to doubt and all that. It's a pointless sequel but hey, it predicted the future in more than a few ways especially these PC times so if Warner Bros. has some balls they can explore that angle more.

Fact: Taco Bell changed their logo's colors and design IRL because they liked the movie's futuristic version of the logo better. Prior to 1994, this was the Taco Bell logo:

Please no... The "future" of Demolition Man already *mostly* came true... (Still wondering about the three shells tbh...) I couldn't stand to see what other horrifying pussy shit they predict, that will also most likely happen in the near future.

Oh yeah! Yet another installment of a classic movie sequel no one asked for with a geriatric actor very slowly strolling his way through action scenes.

Calling it now, John Spartan will be constantly bested by his adopted daughter, a half-brown half-mexican muslim lesbian and the plot will be centred around them going to the "Badlands", which will just be a bible-belt version of Mad Max with lore that revolves around how Trump is the reason that everything went tits up in the US and this bible-belt discount-wasteland will feature MAGA-hat wearing xenophobes.

Modern Hollywood neither has the balls nor the wit to actually satirize current political movements such as SJWdom in the same awesome way PC culture was satirized in Demolition Man. All they can churn out is ORANGE MAN BAD in the style of that abhorrent Watchmen series.

Demolition Man 2 won't be the same if they can't get Sandra Bullock back.

But Sylvester Stallone has never been one to turn away from a franchise, so we'll see how this goes.

There's only 2 paths for this movie to go, it will either symbolically "apologize" for how offensive, racist and homophobic the first movie was back then and send a message to obey and conform to pander to the SJW that will not even see it or it will be the most "problematic" movie since the Joker and journos will write 999999 articles about how dangerous it is accidentally promoting it.

We'll find out soon enough I guess.

Sylvester Stallone is a conservative, isn't he? So I can't see him signing onto a movie that is just ORANGE MAN BAD.

Is she even still acting? I just realized that I can't even remember the last time I saw her in a movie.

EDIT: I just remembered, it was Gravity, that's the last time I saw her, how did I forget that?

Stallone is also friends with Trump.

Bullock was last seen in Netflix dumpster fire A Quiet Place. Or was it Bird Box?

This can only work if it'll make fun of the PC culture of the 2010's.
I'm talking about pulling no punches and going after everybody.
Sly arguably made the only openly right wing Hollywood movie of 2019 (Rambo 5) so hopefully, he won't walk on eggshells around stuff like LGBT (for example, I would love to see a scene where a guy walks into a booth and comes out a girl and then they make a joke about how barbaric those procedures were in the past).
Sly can still deliver good entertainment (I'm looking at you, Arnold) so I won't dismiss this movie just yet.

I honestly hope it goes for the later and not the former. If a movie like the og demolition man was made today, it would be given the same treatment as joker. Called problematic and encouraging of "toxic masculinity " and an insult to social justice causes.

And that's why I Love DM, it was a problematic almost counter culture to the world we live in now before such a world existed.
