Thought provoking post.
First impulse was to reach for "horrifying" based on the second sentence, but your next sentence prompted the thought (implied by you of course) "would there really be anything all that wrong with that if the only people who were able to see these posts were also 14-17 year old beautiful kids?" It would still be possible to argue "yes there is," but that's a whole different debate in which a good (and non repulsive) case could be made for "nothing inherently 'wrong' going on here."
And yeah, while I'm no expert, my sense is that the vast majority even of these poor "micromanaged by evil freak extreme controlling/exploiting parent" kids eventually move out on their own, and that one never knows what the hell is going to happen then-though rarely anything good.
On a related note: anyone know what ever happened to those two sisters who were made to sing racist pro-fascist hymns by their pop and had some kind of cult following among neonazis and several "records" out, then turned 18 and issued a statement basically saying "we were forced to do all this by our nazi dad sorry about that shit!"?
