Howdy-Meowdy. Not sure why this hasn't been made yet considering how batshit insane the DA stamp community is, including the comments on the stamps themselves.
What is a DeviantART stamp? It is an accessory-type thing you can plaster on your profile or collect personally. It's not an actual stamp, no, that would be terrible.
Here's a good explanation:

With that being said, we all know DA houses a lot of degeneracy and batshit-loonies. DA also is a place Tumblr fags like to migrate to, or have a side account for. This creates some beautiful works of art! As you can see here....

Some people make their stamp VERY big so you know they're serious.

There are a lot to show they are against something, these are called "anti stamps" and they are common for shipping characters. It is important to let everyone know you are against something, hence why all of these has big red text and Xs showcasing their disapproval.

Oh, the DA Stamp Community, I remember the days of not having anything to lose and just exploring the stamp section of the website to see what trash could I dig out.

I could easily talk about Deadstamps and how much do they act like an autistic clown everytime they come across any Cishet-related stamps (because we know how Tumblrites tend to be extremely passive-aggressive and spiteful towards ideas they don't like) but any Heterosexuality-related stamps that (somehow still) have their comments sections open are a huge shitshow in itself.

While I think pride in general is really dumb, especially pride parades (though I believe nobody should be ashamed over things they were born with and out of their control), DeviantArt spergs have to make everything about them to the point of causing the OPs to lock comments every single time.

Wasn't there a point in time when DA was banning stamp/icon accounts because they were so rampant? Also this has reminded me of the stupid no talking chat room on DA where you got levels and exp for staying in a chat room and not talking. If you spoke you lost exp and would be muted for awhile, shit was fucking pointless.

Late oughts Deviantart was the horrible result of what happens when you mix preteens with no supervision and adult sex perverts in an online social environment. Almost every artcow on this website got groomed there, for example PurpleKecleon.

That no-talking chat was the childish side. "Haha wouldn't it be funny if...?"

I mean, we can’t forget about those, right?

I also remember seeing stamps that were just “I like (insert franchise here)”. But that’s normal compared to the stuff on this thread.

The DA stamps weirdly interest me because it seems like you could make anything you wanted, and someone out there will showcase it on their profile. Some go overboard, of course, but I think they help act as a visual shorthand for the kind of person you're about to deal with. I think if the stamps were more like:

something silly and doesn't take itself seriously, then it's whatever, a community most likely wouldn't exist. But no, they have to be personal and be labeling, and that's where the autism and passive-aggression comes from. "Proud to be Autistic" stamps and all. Always is the first thing I look for when I come across someone's page, because you just know they're something special, alright.

Just a few personal favorites 'til I can remember a few more cows with a boatload of stamps at their disposal to pick out, especially when it comes to writing and OCs. Those can get wacky.
