Did Chris's desire for a sweetheart override his logic? -

I've been considering this for a long time now regarding Chris. He's had many sagas and made an idiot of himself after being fooled time and again over the internet. A logical person might hear a country they never knew about and google it, right? Or if he heard about somebody being kept against their will, wouldn't a logical person look up the police and try to get them there?

I can't avoid wondering if Chris did have doubts about the stories and lies the trolls wove for him, but he wanted a sweetheart so bad he ignored the nagging inner voice because his hope for being the hero who wins the sweetheart blotted out everything else.

Gotta wonder...

That he believed the entire idea that Max had a "base" outside of which they'd meet and fight and/or negotiate shows that Chris actively believed reality worked like videogames or anime. That's his "logic": That popular culture is in fact a documentary.

Without the trolling, he would have no reason to survive by being paranoid. Really, I don't understand the constant desire to justify the trolling with arguments of this nature. He got trolled, and we enjoyed it, that's it.

No need to worry, the great anti brony spell of this forum has long since abated since it was confined to the "brony lolcow" thread in the lolcow section and since people remembered these guys are a minority in every fandom
