Off-Topic Did Long Haul ever have anything to say on "The Izzy Affair" -

I shot them a couple of emails to ask if there really was an incident (I used to live in Rockridge so I'm familiar with the area and really, if there was an inkling of truth to it I would have liked to know in case Izzy decides to go full on babooney looney instead of just chimp )
but heard nada.

Tossing out a stinky hobo doesn't merit a public announcement, even if it is the Lebron James of stinky hobos.

And if I worked at the Long Haul, I wouldn't entertain any questions from strangers about that one crazy stinky hobo I had to toss out. I can't even begin to imagine what the staff went through.

I would love to know too. Dunno how transparent they are though. I can't find anywhere on their site with anything like meeting minutes or a list of people banned from the space.

I'd imagine an anarchist junkie den infoshop having to ban someone off the premises is not exactly one of their proudest moments. Even though it was totally justified under the circumstances.

I doubt they'll say anything. These anarchist types tend to be justifiably paranoid about giving out information to random strangers. They'll just assume your a cop.

I sent them an email before they decided to ban Phil and they never responded. I asked them if he was an actual volunteer at their place and if so how that effects their supposed safe space.
