People probably have trouble understanding him in part because his voice is so deep. Hearing that in the context of a foreign accent probably leads people to think "heavy accent" rather than "Ukraine's answer to Barry White."

Well, he's from Chernigov, so I'm going to have to lean towards no. On one hand he is studying accounting - in Ukraine this is almost exclusively female profession so he has a good shot at the women's if he returns, on the other hand - it's not like there is any money left in Ukraine to count.

For a minute, Lepeshkin actually sounded kind of progressive. He likes women with careers who can support themselves, thinks women should have sex with someone out of genuine interest rather than money, and tells "fans" to respect all women regardless of appearance. Then the video arrived at the part about how all sex costs money in some way.

Giving a lolcow the benefit of the doubt led to hilarity tinged with disappointment. Then again, maybe those views are considered progressive in eastern Europe...

It also led to a difference in east and west in gender roles. But it wasn't out of progressiveness, like I said a lot of men were dead.
