Everyone is aware of the Black Lives Matter movement. It's embedded itself in everything from CNN to CSI at this point. It's a large, nebulous concept, with plenty of room for discussion. With new "events" happening almost weekly, each one seems to be accompanied by amazing displays of ignorance and exceptional behavior broadcasted on live TV and Social Media.

I originally wanted this thread to just document the rush to judgement lies and mental gymnastics that take place around this idea, but I didn't expect Transgender tumblr ideas to be front and center on the official page so I'll start there.

This is the supposed "official" Black Lives Matter website created by Patrisse Cullors, Opal Tometi, and Alicia Garza.

They claim to have started this movement and are pretty salty about how it's been "Appropriated" by the Hetero-Patriarchal establishment.

When you design an event / campaign / et cetera based on the work of queer Black women, don’t invite them to participate in shaping it, but ask them to provide materials and ideas for next steps for said event, that is racism in practice. It’s also hetero-patriarchal. Straight men, unintentionally or intentionally, have taken the work of queer Black women and erased our contributions. Perhaps if we were the charismatic Black men many are rallying around these days, it would have been a different story, but being Black queer women in this society (and apparently within these movements) tends to equal invisibility and non-relevancy.

So apparently Black Lives Matter is supposed to be about accepting Transgendered and Queer, among other things, according to them.

Guess that message has gotten lost in things like this:

Anyways. I wanted to create a place to collect all the chimpout maddness that goes on in the name of Dindu Nuffin and BLM. Hopefully it's a good start. It's my first thread.

Found a video of BLM organizers basically failing at being interviewed and barely containing a chimpout on Television. They act like entitled teenagers and dodge answering questions pretty much from the start to awkward and hilarious ends.

It's a long video, but interesting if you want to watch the paper thin facade of the greater movement torn away by simple logical questions... by another black man, no less. When the interviewer doesn't jump on the "We're all oppressed and held down" bandwagon immediately, they basically call him white.

The interviewer even gives up around 21 mins and tells the producers that these two guests are useless. I think one of their mothers in the audience ends up having a bit of a tantrum at the end.

And what happens when you mix the Alt Right with BLM?

That Fanny Pack alone should be grounds for being arrested.
