I can't help but imagine the marketing people at Betty Crocker struggling to think of cool names for a Fruit Rollup competitor and then just going with "Fruit String Thing" because fuck it.
I'm sure it was great, but that was some poor naming. "Taco Bell volcano" sounds more like the effects of eating Taco Bell on your anus.Taco Bell Volcano Burrito![]()
They're both pale imitations of the real drink, which is just coffee sweetened with coke instead of sugar. Sounds weird, but it's actually quite good. The problem is, you only need a little bit of coke for a whole cup of coffee, so if you're doing it at home you wind up with two drinks.I can't help but imagine the marketing people at Betty Crocker struggling to think of cool names for a Fruit Rollup competitor and then just going with "Fruit String Thing" because fuck it.
Anyway I was apparently the only person in the world who liked "Coca-Cola Blak", Coke's first attempt to infuse their sugar water with coffee flavor. They recently reintroduced Coca-Cola with Coffee but when I tasted it I was very underwhelmed but maybe that's a sign of my tastebuds maturing after years passed. Blak was less sugary sweet in my memory.

The stuff is expensive and I guess blak was ahead of its time.I can't help but imagine the marketing people at Betty Crocker struggling to think of cool names for a Fruit Rollup competitor and then just going with "Fruit String Thing" because fuck it.

Their source for fresh moles probably dried up, and hamsters just didn't taste the same.An local Mexican place by me has been in business for 20 years now and when they first opened they had mole sauce. Really good stuff but they stopped making it after the first 2-3 years and it never came back.
Oh God how I miss these...
