Why does there seem to be no such a thing as microwave cheese popcorn anymore? The only cheese popcorn you can find is in bags, everywhere I've looked that's all I can find.

I liked the Orville Redenbacher kind with a packet of cheesy oil to pour over. There are some powdered flavors but they all suck.

There was a mesquite bbq chips that were pretty good in the 90's. They were in a blue bag and rectangle I really liked and a multilayered chocolate bar that was really good that was like eating a cake. I've been trying to find the name of the chocolate bar so I can find something similar to it. It was similar to a Time Out bar but came in a brown package.

Can't forget about Jolt Cola.

At least I recently found a taffy I used to like eating in the 80's and they have more than one flavour!

Nothing, it mostly passes out of the body but a bunch of countries had banned it. That's about all I can find searching.

i miss ponderosa and american buffets. had to take care of some family affairs and just teared up at childhood memories having big family outings there and old country buffet, hometown.

the last golden corral shutdown at the start of covid, all thats left is chink buffets.

Not sure if El Monterey Tornados are officially discontinued or not, but I haven't been able to find them in stores for about a decade. I think you can still find single servings at gas stations from time to time. The cheesy pepper jack ones were my favorite.

They sell these at the concessions counter at my local grocery store! Sad you can't get them!

YES. OH MY GOD YES.
Pretty much, Twinkies and dingdongs were a god send when I was a kid.
Twinkies were soft and pillowy with that slight artificial vanilla taste but they were so GOOD.
Ding dongs used to have a chocolate shell outter coating that crumbled when you bit into them.

After twinkeys fucked off then came back they became the WORST.
The new ones became chewy like rubber and legit I thought they were stale. My dad who didn't even like twinkeys had one when they came out of bankruptcy and even went "this doesn't taste right."
We bought a box like every month to make sure we weren't fucking loosing our minds but pre bankrupt was amazing and these new ones are fucking trash. Haven't had twinkies in years since then.

Dingdongs got smaller and lost their thick chocolate coating, they instead got a light chocolate covering and they suck.

Tbh shout out to Resident Evil's Umbrella outbreak mints. Maybe mints aren't a food per say but those were like candy to little kid me and I miss them. Still got the tin tho.

I saw those tornados at giant tiger and superstore this morning so they aren't officially discontinued. Maybe just not being sold in some regions anymore

I actually really liked the Coca-Cola Blak of circa 2006. It came in a little glass bottle and had a novel coffee concentrate type flavor under the regular coke. I guess the drink, and by extension I, were just too ahead of our time. I miss that little weird drink. The recent (and promptly discontinued?) Coke energy coffee cans were not the same thing.

You can still get this in certain parts of the US (tend to be red states) but I'm not sure if it's the same formula. I've seen it at fast food places and gas station markets.
