Maybe dogs killed Cruella’s parents and that’s why we’re supposed to sympathize with her? I know jack about this reboot, so this is just a wild guess. Really though, it’s completely unnecessary. They need to make original things more instead of milking things that have already been done.

It's even worse than I had already expected. Emma Stone may get nominated for a Razzie. Trailers are supposed to show the better parts of your acting, right? If that's the best they got from her in this movie, then oh dear god no.
So, they took Birds of Prey and somehow made it even worse. That's impressive, even by Hollywood standards.
