Assuming the "dream" function has a purpose designed by humans, I assume it would be something like defrag. They'd access information with the intent of storing it in the most efficient way for future use, with care taken for what bits of information they'd likely use in tandem. This is actually one hypothesis for why humans dream. So they'd likely dream of whatever information they dealt with recently with maybe some less-recent information piled in. Kinda like how humans do.
So unless these androids are dealing with electric sheep on a regular basis, that's probably not what they'd typically be dreaming about.

Granted, I haven't read the book of even seen Bladerunner so I really don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.

The brain's fucking weird and not everything it does has a "design purpose."
I mean, the canon explanation for deja vu is basically a cross-wiring between the short term and long term memory nexuses (nexes?) in your brain. Because your brain is stupid, that cross-wiring results in you not being able to differentiate between an event happening now and an event that happened in the past so you are sure the event you're experiencing happened before.

Don't assume everything a biological system does has a purpose.
