Do you care if Disney/Sony fuck with The Holy Trilogy with their new movie called "Spider-Man: No Way Home?" - Spider-Man 3 is terrible but better than any Spider-Man movie after it

Is there a term for this "genre" of movies where they just take a bunch of recognizable things and shove it into 1 movie?
This shit is ruining modern Hollywood cinema so I think we need to properly classify it.

I'm talking about Ready Player One, Wreck-It Ralph, the upcoming Space Jam 2, the Lego movies, Avengers/Justice League to a lesser extent etc.
Those aren't really movies, those are just expensive 2-3 hour long ads for a bunch of IPs.
Is there a name for this kind of stuff?
If not, can we call these things "IP Cluster Bombs"?
They throw a "movie" like this at you and then it explodes into a lot of small references to things you've seen before.

Many good movies have had shit prequels and sequels, doesn't effect the original unless go back to fuck it up and making the new version only one you can legally watch like Star Wars Special Editions or the Warriors Ultimate Director's Cut.

I don't care and you shouldn't either.

You are an adult, not a kid. Grow the fuck up and stop caring about capeshit.

Hollywood has no creativity left and seems allergic to taking risks. All they do is care about making money, which is easy if you exploit old IPs and the nostalgia many people harbor for them.

Another reason for decline in movies might be the fact many fans of the older movies have entered the field but lack the understanding of why the movies they grew up with, worked the way they did. All they can see is the surface hype of the movies but neither what makes a good movie good, or even a good story. Their attempts at reboots and new movies in already established IPs will always end in fan-fiction tier quality because for them it's all fan-fiction. And they don't write new stories because they can't come up with something new without having the ground work already laid out to them.
It's like they're trying to build a house but don't know and/or care how it's truly done. All they do is place timbers without connecting them and put a roof on it while asking why the hell the thing doesn't stand on its own.
