I used to have a lot of dreams about floods. The scenery changed but the dream always followed the same script: there is a flood of black water and I have to climb tonthe roof of a house or building to escape.
Sounds an awful lot like survive the disasters. Anyway, 4 dollars a pound.

I keep having dreams where I find myself back in high school or middle school and trying to make sense of things, then it gets bad because I'm unable to meet with my favorite teacher who always gave me advice or I keep trying to find my crush and can't find her.
shit's weird, especially the latter because I already have a girlfriend, although the dreams are usually less about love and more about wanting to hang out and watch anime.

I keep dreaming that I never finished high school.

I've had dreams involving both 8th grade and high school where I'm notified as an adult that there's been some sort of issue with my academic record and I need to come back to school as a student for one day to resolve the issue or else my record will be changed to say I never graduated. The biggest frustration in those dreams comes from not being told what class(es) to attend or having the regular students looking at me and wondering why an adult is in their class even if the teacher has explained why I'm there.

In terms of bad dreams, I think I mentioned in the weird dreams thread that there's a city within driving distance that's known for its ghetto areas and urban decay. What few dreams I've had involving this city always end with something bad happening. The worst was the dream where my mom and I had to drive through this city for whatever reason and a hidden sniper started shooting at the two of us. As I'm trying to use my body to shield my mom from the gunfire, I woke up panicking with my heart racing.

I’ve had a reoccurring nightmare about walking down a dark street by myself very early in the morning. I walk past this building where I can see a dimly lit office or waiting room inside through the window. As I’m glancing at the window, I notice a figure peering out from around the corner inside and quickly moves back when it notices I’ve seen it. It’s humanoid, but I’m not sure if it’s a person or something that just bears a human resemblance. I quicken my pace and continue walking. I start hearing industrial sounding noises behind me shortly after, metallic scraping, something heavy dropping, footsteps. I turn around and see the figure standing under a streetlight staring at me. It’s completely black, not just in shadow but like it’s completely absent of any light despite standing underneath a streetlight. I usually wake up after this but it evokes such an eerie primal fear in me. Probably did a piss poor job explaining but there it is

Not for years, but one of the more common ones I remember is being in some kind of large, empty, abandoned warehouse, it's dark, and I know (hear? see? dreams are weird that way) there's something stirring in one of the darker corners. I try to move and my feet seem to be rooted to the floor, the warehouse seems to be getting darker and I can sense this thing is getting closer.

That one got me to punch a dent into a wall once. Had a difficult time explaining it to the landlord.

School dreams might get replaced later on in life with other kinds of stress. What replaced my school dreams was a dream where I suddenly remember that I have an apartment in a city far away(a city where I've lived at some point) and I haven't paid the rent for 13 years or so.
I don't know why but there are a lot of elevators going sideways in those dreams.
