Do you ever find yourself having something in common with everyone's favorite man-child?

The only thing I have in common with him is our love of cartoons. I do love MLP, and from one of his Facebook posts, it is clear he likes The Amazing World of Gumball, another good show. I love anime as well. I also have bought figurines and toys on occasion, not for playing, buy for displaying and collecting. I also have a fondness for thrift store clothing, and think his "Classic" shirt is rather spiffy.

Still at home at age 30, I tend to my elderly mom sometimes.

I don't have a job. I lost my job nearly 2 years ago, I live out in the middle of nowhere, so it would be wasting money to work in retail, all my check would go in the gas tank. I'm trying to find jobs working at colleges, mainly because that's where all my previous work experience is in.

I tend to get spergy over some things like old commercials.

I think about the past too much, when life was better.

Anime/Cartoons, Transformers, that's about it. Oh and I like to play video games when I have the chance, and I love tokusatsu, so I do like Power Rangers and Sentai, but I totally disagree that it got worse after Zordon died, some of the best PR series came after that.

I find him interesting because there are many aspects of our lives that are similar, and share many common defects but thank God those are magnified on Chris and not me.

I started working even before graduating high school and been working since then, at least that's the biggest difference with CWC. Other than that am really lame at social interaction. I like videogames, toys and anime. Couldn't get a girlfriend until my late 20s, now I want to be alone.

I play multiple instruments, have an equal amount of male and female friends, in the end, I prefer for people to not pay attention to me rather than having 100000000+ (or how many Chris said) fans, I don't have autism, I don't pull crazy stunts to get attention from girls, hell, I rarely ever pull off anything like that because stupid just doesn't suit me. I can sit here and try to think about the things I have in common with him, but for some reason, the more I do that, the more differences I'll find. I'd say cartoons/anime like everyone else, but after a while, I sort of realized I only like those things in moderation. Chris sort of has an obsession with them.

My love life is pretty shitty . But Honestly, I think its rather intentional. I came to a realization that my self esteem was so fucked up that I hated myself and as a result came to subconsciously resent and inevitably drive away any romantic interests/gfs I've ever had. Now that I think about we both could benefit from a trip to a therapist. I like Anime. Nothing that I've known Chris to be a fan of and I actually can't bring myself to watch it on a regular basis. But the anime that I do enjoy I love. I'm thinking about getting a "FLCL" tattoo that show changed the way I view the world. Arguably changed my life. I consider myself lazy and overweight, although I work two jobs, go to school and have lost 40 lbs since discovering Chris.

One of the reasons I find Chris so fascinating is that his core flaws are not unlike the average person's. Who here never gets lazy occasionally? Eats junk food? Ignore things that you know good and goddamn well are the truth? not approach a girl/someone your interested in because you're afraid of rejection?

Chris just takes these normal flaws to extreme levels.
