My first instinct was to dismiss this as a shitpost, but you may be on to something here.

Classic Rock was a product of the US Intelligence community, operating out of Laurel Canyon, California. It was part of the Deep State's broader campaign of experiments into mind control and social engineering, which included things like MK-Ultra, Timothy Leary, and yes even the Alien Disclosure Movement (if a conspiracy theory is vocally endorsed by Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, and Laurance Rockefeller, you can be sure it glows).

However, if the Disclosure Movement actually turns out to be sound, and against all odds, aliens really have been visiting the planet and contacting the American military-intelligence-industrial complex, then it's possible that aliens played some role in the establishment of Laurel Canyon, and the subsequent Classic Rock scene.
