Not a fan of it anymore. I used to love it, but the quality has gone way down recently.
Bad Wolf was a hard storyline to top and nothing's come close. It feels like Moffat is trying to make every episode as scary and intense as Blink (which was a brilliant episode) and it's not working. Oh look, they're in a dollhouse. Oh no, spooky living dolls! Oooooooo! Good heavens, poorly-CGIed rubbery doppelgangers! Horrifying! The Weeping Angels only THINK you're looking at them! That didn't ruin the effect at all! And don't get me started on Asylum of the Daleks, which was probably the worst episode of modern Doctor Who I've ever seen.
I don't really know how to finish this post, can't think of a snappy conclusion.

I disagree with you about a science fiction television program and therefore reject your basic humanity. I call into question both your intelligence and your moral character. I would use vulgarities related to your race, gender or sexuality if I had access to the necessary information to choose the appropriate slurs. You may now consider me your lifelong enemy and you should expect a prompt and messy downfall at my hands.

Nuther Whovian Hipster reporting for duty. I have loved it ever since I was 6 when I watched an entire marathon of it with my parents, and long before NuWho came around (which I also love with the exception of Davies Crapper episodes). Right now I think they need to end the River Song story arc as it is kinda getting old now. Just give it a final two parter to wrap up all lose ends and move on before it starts getting stale

The great thing about River Song is she's already had her farewell episode. I love the "out of order" conceit from that storyline.

Well Just saw the new episode, and I gotta say I rather enjoyed it, and am not hating the new companion as much as I wish I was.

Also
The fact they bringing back the Great Intelligence seemingly as a full time bad guy is pure awesome, and I hope they bring back more stuff from very early Dr who.

And another thing (warning, fanboy rage contained within)
FUUUUUUUCK!!!! OF ALL THE PEOPLE THEY BRING BACK FOR THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY, THEY CHOOSE BILLIE FUCKING PIPER!?

FFS, TOM BAKER, PETER DAVIDSON, COLIN BAKER, SYLVESTER MCCOY, PAUL MGGAN AND CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON ARE STILL FUCKING ALIVE!!!! NOT TO MENTION A BAJILLION EX COMPANIONS!!! WHY NOT BRING THEM THE FUCK BACK FOR SOME CAMEO PORN!?

Probably because the 50th anniversary will be aimed more at NuWho fans who have no experience with Classic Who and would wonder "who the fuck is this old dude wearing a scarf" or "why does that guy rrrrrrrrrrroll his r's?" or "is that guy wearing celery? why is he bald?"

But I seriously wish Paul McGann was in it, he needs to be in a Doctor Who TV work that's actually good.

Well in that case then, why not teach the hordes of contemptible tweens and teens some damn history as to the roots of the show and why it was awesomesauce long before Billie fucking Piper was even born, not to mention elaborate on the 50 or so cameos of the classic doctors in the new series.

.... if any NuWho fan does not know who tom baker is, they do not deserve to fucking breath, and should have been killed at birth with a lawnmower.

If they cant take the magnificence of Sylvester Mccoy's voice thats their problem

They brought Davidson back for a ten minute mini-episode in NuWho and came up with some bullshit excuse as to why he so old

Aye, I know. Him and Colin Baker only got to shine in the Audiodramas, and even in that limited format they are amazing. Just makes me hate Michael Grade and Fox television all the more.

^ Yes I did, and despite having loathed the past few episodes of the season, and the finale itself not really explaining enough of the immidiate plot, it was utterly, utterly awesome for two reasons

1) NO MORE RIVER SONG!!!!

2)
HOLEEEEEEEEE FUCK!!! JOHN HURT IS A FORGOTTEN INCARNATION OF THE DOCTOR!!!
