He seems to think he does, and talks about theoretical women that can never do any wrong.

Looking back though, the real women (non troll) that rejected him he now despises. Megan is now a heartless evil troll. The Wallflower he left a rather rude youtube message for saying he doesn't want her. MLW told him to stop being a tard and became the villain of sonichu. The only women he really "respects" were his high school gal pals that he never got to make a move on, and Anna. I'm pretty sure if he pulled anything like he did with Megan while in high school his crowd of girls that tolerated would have ditched him in no time. Anna of course is a special case, and uses Chris from a distance for her own reputation.

Is he just hopeful that women and general don't reject him, or is he trying to just appear like a "sensitive guy" online so women would approach him? It's clear that woman that don't want to date him or give him what he wants get vilified.

If there's anything Chris hates, it's a big fat "no", doubly so when it applies to women, the sex/gender that he believes will help validate his existence.

This (as well as his entitlement issues and never having had to work for anything in his life) is why he prefers to take the passive, (supposedly) less emotionally risky role in courtship.

Chris isn't an emotionally strong person. He is drawn towards caregivers. Women are generally the natural caregivers, and he's attracted to women. And he likes to deceive himself.

His idolizing of women is another lie he tells himself. He puts them on a pedestal because he thinks they are the alternative to men who are all RUDE JERKS. I'm sure this started with the group of high school girls who took pity on him for being an outcast. Ironically, they are still angels in his eyes because they cut off communication with him after high school. If they'd actually been friends, they would have kept in touch. They dropped him like a bad habit as soon as graduation was over with. He rewrote the story as being torn apart from them, and since they weren't there to tell him to leave them alone, fantasy became reality. Chris can function just fine as a hypocrite. If every single girl who ever smiled at him or took pity on him came back and spurned him, he would call them all trolls. He would say that all women are wonderful, except for every woman he's met, and that all men are still JERKS.

The confused and depressed and lonely state that you see Chris in now is the result of a thousand different rationalizations of his and others' behavior, never being woven into a coherent reality. He doesn't understand anything because so much of his life has been spent lying to himself.

What's really ironic is that my namesake (the real AC) put out an ad in the newspaper asking those with deformities and disabilities to come on over for a bit of sex. If it wasn't for Chris-chan's fear of such people he could have lost his virginity to a girl other than a hooker. In a sense he has such high standards and all. This is stuff you could find or piece toghether from the CWCki, but it's rather funny to me. I honestly don't know how his getting a hooker makes any sense with his professed faith. It might be that he thinks God is his HGA and a puppet of his. Wouldn't shock me if that was the case.

I think Bungholio got it - most everyone who gave him the time of day in his life was a woman, plus his relationship with Bob was apparently more conflicted than with Barb.
And since he'll never have a real woman for more than an hour at a time, he's felt free to develop the mythos even further. His Sweetheart-To-Be is responsible for fixing his biological clock and everything else wrong with his life - he's projected the fulfillment of all his desires onto the mythical girl.

I think this is actually pretty common with idealization. The one with the obsession projects everything they desire on the object of that desire, whether a person, thing, or intangible idea. It becomes the source of all that is good in his or her eyes, and somehow gaining it will gave him or her total happiness.

For Chris then, he doesn't so much idealize women as the idea of women. He loves the ideal women who will solve all of his problems, shower him with praise, be his willing servant, and shield him from a world that refuses to do the first three things for him.

There's always an exception to a rule, and I find Chris's infatuation with Sarah to be an interesting case in this saga twice. IIRC, Sarah locked Chris under the crawlspace of her house and left him there, and she also almost poisoned him with honeysuckle. And yet Chris still considered her his "best friend". She even made it into the comic as a main character (for an issue) and was Chris's best man(which, by the way, what the hell?) later in the comic.

My question is whether Chris seriously thinks or feels that Sarah even liked him, and how she came to be his best friend. Did Chris ever have any other friend, gal pal or JERK, who ever filled that position?

She moved away fairly early in his life and they didn't really hang out in college as far as I can tell.

He was over Sarah by the time she was married. And by "over her" I mean he'd met Megan and figured he had a shot with her, so he was willing to let Sarah do as she please.

I like to think Chris sees having more than one girlfriend at once is a way of ensuring that even if one relationship fails, you've got another one to fall back on. But that's just my opinion.

He's selfish, in a way it's sometimes difficult to understand. A self-serving motive is behind all of his actions, maybe even to the point where he doesn't even know it. Just listening to his audios and watching his vids, he literally says whatever he thinks will benefit himself. Not bein' A-loggy here, but he's not an idiot(well, not totally), he knows/has heard the right things to say for situations. Like in his marriage to Ivy vid, he said she'd changed him into such a better person, now of course he didn't mean it, but that's "what lovers say". All of his idolization comes from his obsession with what he will gain from women, which to him, is A LOT...it's like vidya, he spends time with, obsesses over, and idolizes that. He buys blu-ray cases so he can get more games in his room, he goes into gross(literally) detail about his "hawt sonicu secks" instead of making a plot...he works things to maximize his enjoyment. Same thing goes for ladies, but with women he gets sexual gratification, emotional gratification, and that potential "new mommy" thing we speculate about. He writes "poetry", yells at JERKS(Liquid) in vids, he "admits faults"...and even idolizes women, to maximize enjoyment. Women, to him, are like anything else in his life, there to serve him and that's it, but women are probably the biggest potential source of pleasure, thus he idolizes them.

Sorry for going a little off topic but I like how he talks about respecting both the inside and the outside of a woman. However when he tries to describe their "insides" he has a difficult time forming a complete sentence so he just babbles on failing to make a single coherent point, proving that he has no idea what the flying crap he's talking about.
But when he starts talking about their outsides, well he seems to have no trouble with that since he spends 3/4ths of the videos talking about their breasts, pretending to fondle their bodies, waving his nudie pictures around and making that perverted and creepy "MMM" sound.
Oh yeah and apparently every male he knew started wars.

I would say Chris idolizes women because he barely knows how they function and he fills in the gaps himself. To him, women apparently have a few basic character traits that composes their entire being. The way he portrays them in the comic does a nice job of reflecting the way he feels about women in real life. I mean, check out these stellar characterizations:

What's the difference, personality-wise, not physically (anyone with eyes can see that), between all the female characters? Rosechu, Angelica, Bubbles, Lolisa, Simonla, Chloe, Patti, Megagi, Layla, Zapina

I'd like a sentence or two description of each, thanks.

Rosechu is a leader-type, all-around personality, smart and quick-wit, strong and fears little, yet surprised easily. Angelica is a religious type; she feels peace and tranquility often from the presence of God and Jesus and her healthy life in general. Bubbles has a bubbly personality; likes to have fun often, a bit goofy sometimes, yet serious when the situation calls for it. Lolisa is of Radio DJ and Co-Host personality; she keeps up with the latest news and trends, sad from bad news; happy from good news, honest and punctual. Simonla is of Construction-Worker personality; she rarely leaves a job undone, a bit tomboy, and spunky. Chloe is of a generic high-school girl personality; more of her personality will be shown in future pages. Patti is wise, kind, calm-toned and a good girl-dog. Megagi is like a Army Soldier; gets attention upon call, endures difficult perils and obstacles, she is one to gun down her foes swiftly. Layla is sheepish; kind of shy, yet energetic, sweet and such, but on rare instances, she will really let out her frustration in defense for her allies. Zapina is a fast-talking, very energetic, spunky, inquisitive little gal.

It's partly Chris being unable to weave a story (barely anyone has personality outside of what their roles entail) and partly Chris adhering to these stereotypes he's formed. Chloe is the worst offender here, having "a generic high-school girl personality." Having BEEN a high school girl until recently, I have no idea what he's getting at. My best guess is that this generic high school girl personality is one that's all happy, giggly, obsessed with shopping and boys and talking on the phone liek sooooo much gurlfriend. It shows that Chris, like many other poor writers, portray women as women first and characters second.

Before I get too far into Sonichu and its many failings, I'll bring this back to Chris in the present day.

Ridiculous standards aside, his ideal woman would be "Caring, Sweet, Honest, Smart, Outgoing" as well as not being virginal and having a decent rack (both very important personality traits lol). If he was thinking about what he was writing at all, maybe he'd draw a few obvious conclusions like anyone who is an "expert" in sex is more likely to have STDs, that slim girls on average don't have huge busts, or that someone who is genuinely care-free is a complete rarity if they exist at all.

I would say Chris WANTS women to all be simple and sweet. Heck, he actively resists the notion that women can be pretty damn mean. When Kacey outright tells him that, he calls it "stupid." He doesn't want an equal partner, he wants an escape. He's depressed and lonely and he doesn't know enough about women (or people) to realize he can't classify them into specific roles or idolize them.

Getting into his real world experiences, Chris just reinterprets his experiences to suit his views. He's always preferred Barb, he thought he and Sarah Hammer and his high school gal-pals were best friends, he claims a school counselor diagnosed him as getting along better with women, he apparently failed his college English class until it was taught by a woman, he finds Rocky to be entirely beneficial, an escort who was just doing her job when she indulged him...the list goes on.

If he decided to be a little more proactive and engaged with many different women, face-to-face, he might rethink his views just a little. Of course, that's assuming there are enough women willing to talk to him on a deeper level than basic polite conversation. He'd likely interpret it as all of them being "nice" and that would just serve his mindset more.
