Today I was babysitting my nephew, he's about 8, and he brought his big bucket of legos over.He asked if he could go on LEGO.com because he wanted instructions to build a hotel or an airplane or something; it was pretty basic stuff. But I did see some things like this:

I now understand why LEGO also has an adult audience, but it made me wonder. Does chris build things like this? Does he want to build a giant ass tower for his lego angel of himself to fly down and land on Megan's head prototype style? Does He want CWCville to have soup hotels?

No. Chris wants easy-to-build kid sets that he can make with little-to-zero modifications. And turtle tits.

Architecture, mindstorm, and tecnic sets are notably tit-free.

^^this is what Chris sees.

What we see is somewhat less impressive.

If you cloned Chris 1000 times, then set all 1001 of them to work with 10 billion Lego pieces for 10000 years, they still wouldn't come close to building something that advanced.

That's because they would all argue about what they would build and all of them would pout for the next 10,000 years.

Chris has a CAD "degree" and he stills draws like an 8 year old, hell even if he did build intricate lego sets he would post them online so he can get asspats so why would you ask such an asinine question. Seriously before you hit the post button think it through, some of these threads are tedious

I never understood these modern Lego sets. I always thought kids liked Legos because with a bunch of tiny identical pieces you could build whatever you imagined (in theory), which I assume is why they like Minecraft so much. But when they're custom-made to replicate a famous building or scenario then there's no creativity involved any more, it's just a kid putting specific pieces together in a specific order. What's fun about that?

Chris and Advanced should never be in the same sentence.

Chris was only able to build the High School because it came with instructions designed to be understood by 7 year old girls. Most adult Lego enthusiasts his age can plan and build some impressive creations like the example OP found, but just look at some of the craptastic buildings in his Lego CWCville photos that Chris built when left to his own creativity without kid-friendly instructions. There's no plan, he just took whatever block he happened to grab and added it on where ever it could fit.

That always amazed me. I grew up with Lego and I started realizing at about the age of seven that multi-colored houses with no theme looked terrible. I started hoarding bricks in black, grey, white and brown in order to make my favorite structures--castles. My red and blue bricks became dead weight.

But when you look at Chris's CWCville, it seriously looks like it was put together by a ADHD-ridden four-year-old.\

EDIT: Edited because even though English is my first language, I apparently still suck at it.

Chris has obviously worked with sets that create specific objects (City appears to have been his favorite to create CWCville prior to Lego Friends), but he seems to prefer random buckets. Random buckets pretty much are for when you want to be creative! but don't care if it looks good or not.

Ah Duplo, literally Legos for babies (or close enough). While I suppose you can give them to kids (and adults) to retarded to be trusted with proper Legos, I guarantee any normal kid 5 and older caught with Duplo is likely to get their ass kicked.

I think advanced Lego sets would be too complex for OPL. Not even high school Honor Roll would help him out with that. Also I don't think they make a CWCville-themed advanced Lego set.
