Does Chris have Prosopagnosia? -

I was reading a Wikia for the game 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, when it mentioned that one of the characters in the game may have a condition called Prosopagnosia, or an impairment in facial recognition.

As it's been mentioned in the past that Chris has had difficulty recognising other people's faces, I was wondering if it was due to this or just inattentiveness on his end.

It's possible. After all, he had to spend hours memorizing his own face during his high school years.

He could have that. He couldn't recognise that the photos of Blanca were of three different women.

There should be some evidence of him not being able to recognize his own parents/relatives if he had the condition.

That's pretty much inattentiveness. Sometimes Chris will notice that stuff on his own, but if you're pretty firm and insist that similarly looking photos are of the same woman, the best he'll be willing to notice are extremely strong features. It's more that he's a pussy and he's lazy than anything.

The fact that he has trouble distinguishing a few faces from each other doesn't mean he has prosopagnosia. Everyone has this problem to a degree.

Prosopagnosia seems to occur mostly with people with brain damage, and even then they're able to recognize other things like people's voices. From the BlueSpike saga, Chris didn't even notice when "Julie's" voice changed tone in the same conversation.

Yeah, prosopagnosia is rare and if he had it, we would have known a long time ago and wouldn't have to speculate.

The voice thing is indeed strange, but I have to point to Autism once again. If faces look alike, then maybe voices sound alike. There is a general inability to process or perceive things associated with the condition.

I'd have to say no. As for not knowing the difference between girls in pictures, part of me believes he convinces himself that it's possible they can just 'look different' or 'change their appearance' and blindly trusts anyone he thinks he has a chance with.

It's entirely possible, since prosopagnosia goes hand-in-hand with autism. I speak from experience: I tend to have a hard time differentiating the faces of strangers (I do much better with voices, though). Chris couldn't tell the difference between Vanessa Hudgens and that chick from the Transformers movies, and as was mentioned earlier, he had to stare into a mirror just to remember his own face.
