I'm assuming the Chandlers are a little more judicious with their mail disposal then we think, if only because Chris, the nominal man of the house, hasn't yet complained about bill collectors in any way that suggests that they aren't paying up.

It's possible they just have some kind of auto-payment thing set up for their utilities that directly debits monthly bills from bank/checking/whatever accounts. That would let them throw out most of their mail and still keep the lights and internet on.
