Yeah I mean in my community I know I can absolutely rely on people. Last week a stranger helped my jump my car in the parking lot of walmart before helping me install a new battery after following me to AutoZone. Most people are mostly good most of the time.

Scenario: Bouie is a blatant fraud, because he is a featured NYT columnist he is part of their business model. You could consider the NYT to be a vendor of Jemelle Bouie the brave leftist. No response. My guess is whoever from NYT looked at the thing didn't consider denigrating townies to be problematic for a hero of the working class. It was automated at first but at a point a person came on, and when they read what i saw they posted the "Allow me to check", and returned 4min later w the email instructions and statement that "Yes that is the way we manage this situations"
