He mows down scenes with a massive drought of competition and not actual games, he has never risen to the occasion against actual adversity. Noticed how none of the people he's beaten are legends you probably know about? He's never slain a Daigo or a Hungrybox or a JDCR and he never will. Best be glad ZeRo got cancelled and that he doubled out from that exhibition match because even four years of training wouldn't have been enough if Gonzales kept at it seriously in that time frame. Goichi is the closest and he's obscure enough I hope I even spelt his name or remembered it correctly.

I'm not saying he can just hop into an established community and beat the best players in a matter of months, but being a multiple time EVO winner isn't nothing. The games that he dominates definitely don't have the same level of competition that bigger games have, but there are still thousands of people trying their hardest to win with money on the line, and he can consistently beat them all.

He's not Knee, JDCR, Leffen, Hbox, Armada, ZeRo, Kuroda, and I'm trying to honestly think of a recent 2d fighting game player that's won as unstoppably as those but I am drawing blanks.

I'm not saying he's anywhere near as good as any of those people, but to say that he's not good at fighting games is ridiculous hyperbole.

SFV and T7 are very inconsistent at top level versus their prequels anyways.

I don't know about SFV, but T7 is fairly consistent in results. In season 1 JDCR and Saint were in basically every grand finals, and ever since season 2 Knee has won a ridiculous amount, with the exception of tournaments Arslan Ash also enters.

Doesn't he know that most of the pallettes in GG and other ArcSys games are just based on an existing character or are based on a theory of colors? And even DBFZ has numbers 3 and up being a specific color set where 1 is default, usual clothes, i.e, Vegeta's battle armor being white and yellow with blue spandex, and 2 being a reference color Vegeta's armor is colored more similarly to his first, albeit undecided appearance, in the Dragon Ball Z anime adaptation.
