Having just watched this, thought I would give a shout out, as this documentary, contains a whole load of stuff to interest your average KF.
It's on Netflix and is around three hours long. And is stuffed to the brim with autism.

Halfway through episode 3 and @Death Grip is not joking, it is full on fucking autistic. They interview these facebook autists in episode 1 who are trying to find the cat killer, end up getting a reality tv show group to harass a depressed shitposter to suicide.

The Facebook investigators are being interviewed as these heroic figures, instead of them just being us lite. The mother is the definition of one of these moonbeam crazies who "the man" did this and framed her son.

They are the literal definition of the participation trophy. At that point the only thing they did is harass a shitposter to death. Why they are even in this is a mystery.

They really tried doing that bullshit documentaries do in episode 3 of hinting at this mysterious third man who deals in snuff videos for millions as being the real killer. I laughed hard when the interviewer asked the mother "So what did your son say went down that night" and watching her spin some bullshit about how he was ordered to kill this guy and did it.

Edit: It really seems like they brought those internet weirdos in to link this Luka's thoughts to movie plots. It's like an english lit class. There is a Casablanca poster in the background of 1 lunatic 1 icepick, it must be a clue. Watch the first and last scenes, it brings up Germany, he went to Europe, the noggin is a joggin. It's actually all an homage to Sharron Stone in Basic Instinct.

I loved it when fatty talked about how she went on a rant to the police department for not listening to them on twitter. You are using a fake twitter account to talk to them, why would they give a shit. None of them were willing to fly out to the Toronto and talk to people there like one guy did with the zoosadists in South America. That guy found the places where animals were being adopted and got them to call the police. By the time they started looking on craigslist, it was when the murder took place and they were already after him. Could have found the people who sold him the cats, shown stills, got them to confirm and have them drop the details/call the police on him.

I also heard that at the end of the documentary, the creators do this faggy little virtue signalling thing shaming their viewers for watching it. If that's true, that already tells me the smug tone the whole thing will take, and I'll just pass entirely.

They show the lead up to it but not the actual killings. You do see him play with the bodies of the deceased kittens in one scene, and you do see the snake lunge for the cat (but not it dying). You see his arm move with 1 lunatic 1 icepick but nothing else. Instead, the interviewees have the pleasure of watching it and breaking down crying for your entertainment pleasure.

It was a last minute pathetic attempt to try and absolve themselves of guilt. They 'hypothesize' that they drove Luka to do it (they didn't) and they use that as an excuse to lecture the viewer. Its just like that Mark Millar comic Wanted where he plays a villain and then all of a sudden he's raping Hollywood celebrities and he ramps up the edge to 11 that was never there before and you're going 'hold on, what the fuck' and there's a panel 'THIS IS ME FUCKING YOU IN THE ASS', and I'm just going, "Then you should really skullfuck the faggot who wrote this because you put this in at the end and pretended this was the message all along". It was as pathetic as that.

The whole group came off as useless, the only thing they succeeded in doing was getting a guy to kill himself. Which I find ironic. They're willing to lecture us, meanwhile their actions got a guy hounded who eventually took his own life and they try to shuffle blame onto anyone else.

Truthfully, the documentary attempts to make these people look like they did something or were responsible for the police hounding him, but they really weren't. As hard as the documentary attempts to manipulate the facts, the honest answer is that they really didn't do anything and basically wasted years of their life for nothing. 'Don't Fuck with Cats' is basically 'Fuck with Cats all you want, just don't murder someone and then spur on an INTERPOL manhunt'. They literally did next to nothing but waste their lives on this. If you look remotely close at their attempts to be 'heroes' the whole thing collapses.

And all his creating of fake identities, to try and make it look like hundreds and thousands of people are obsessed with him.

Yeah I didn't really buy it at first glance. I don't really regret watching the show, however, as much as I disliked about 50% of it. I don't know it's a 5/10 documentary for me. Watch it if you're really interested in true crime.

The individual that emailed them the name was the murderer himself. Just like he mailed the videos to bestgore and several body parts he decided to not eat to political parties.
