Like Clown Doll said, they're made intentionally bad to be "funny". Doomguy is trying to be a clown and getting mad when people boo him instead of laughing and praising his mad clowning skillz. He gets mad when people don't find his wit and humor at the height of comedy. It's kind of like "I was just pretending to be retarded"

I'm not quite so sure. I genuinely think he might be doing it because he genuinely thinks his stupid thing that a 10 year old could make considering how many toolkits he uses is good.

Though him seeing himself as the world's most depressing auteur is still pretty good, since most people who do "so bad it's good" are either unaware of their ineptitude, or realized it and tried to capture something they did previously.

True, but the built-in map editor looks like it would be right up his alley. I would imagine its going to be simple to use. Doomguy's mods will still suck, but it won't be hard to make them.

He already uses tool kits and stuff that autogenerate maps to make his not-worth-playing mods anyway. How is this different?

It would be in 3d and he'd only be able to use existing assets, but that's it. I'm mostly wondering if Doomguy's so restant to change that he won't at least try it.

He hasn't made anything content related for doom that isn't a terry wad or uses the same formula.
At best all he's made is a "Doom Debug Menu" that lets you change what something is, 30,000 levels, which is literally just "how many levels can zdoom handle", and a fucking wad file that functions the exact same as a .ini change for open gl on or off in GZDoom.

And before someone asks, yes he's super proud and overly defensive of what are at best cheap experiment wads.

Since he isn't smart enough to bother making anything change how Doom 4 would function, and since he can't import his unfunny terry shit into Doom 4, he's probably not gonna bother with it at all.

A couple of years ago (around 2011/2012) i believed that he was just fucking around with everyone, but after seeing him doing the exact same thing to this day, i came to the conclusion that he's a genuine "exceptional individual".

What saddens me is that he somehow managed to get a little circlejerk for him, how can anyone find any of his crap to be good?
