A little dissapointed, I was looking forward to a giant meltdown from twitter. Anonymous is just, well, too anonymous for it to salt well. /pol/ is only good for funny frog pictures in my opinion. Again, I don't want to spam the thead up with a 1488 sentences paragraph on my personal and depressing worldviews. Plus nihilism really doesn't travel well through the internet. I don't know much of Alabama and have no reference in mind for it. In fact I don't know much about voter suppression in the first place, except that african americans seem to dislike, or at least SJW soyboys claim that they do so*, having an ID on them to vote, which just seems silly to me. Everybody should have an ID all the time if they step out of home. I don't see any biggie on this. The US fear of IDs strikes me as another irrational fear like their fear of the number 13, or the oriental fear of the number 4, or those silly beliefs in star signs and new age un-science.

* I have seen a lot of blacks quite upset that whites consider them all criminals or idiots who can't carry an ID card and are quite infuriated with its patronising message.
Since most blacks I assume are legal US citizens and are eligible for voting, I kind of agree with their reaction, and the cynic in me thinks that the democrats just want to avoid ID laws to keep their mexican immigrant voter base and are just using the blacks as an excuse to virtue signal and keep their illegal non black voters.

No. Way back before Trump won the nomination, there was a very popular YouTube series called "You Can't Stump the Trump" which used the Knife Party Centipede song as an intro, comparing Trump to the lyrics of the song, describing him as a 'nimble navigator' with 'impressive length' and 'two curved, hollow fangs' hunting down a Tarantula -- which would be Clinton, or whoever the big bad is at the time.

Trump personally retweeted a message linking to You Can't Stump the Trump 4, which he has definitely seen. This made it a super popular thing to the old school cool and is just sort of a thing no one understands anymore, mostly due to the fact the videos stopped being made. After high velocity intensity of the primaries entered into the dreary, endless winter siege of the general election, with serious blows actually stumping the Trump and putting the entire campaign at risk all the way up to election night, there was little fun to be had and the creator just vanished.

it wasn't even that. Most white republicans that came out and voted did vote for Moore. It's just that he sucked so much, many white people who would normally vote stayed home. And the Democratic vote, especially black people, came out in extremely high numbers because Moore literally wants slavery again and some other wild ass bullshit. People think it's a conspiracy but when you look at the numbers it makes sense.

Also everyone who wanted Moore to win "for the salt" are autistic and need to go outside (but hell we all do)

The idea behind this is that there is a chunk of the state -- usually called the Black Belt -- that is very black and very Democrat, and is also very very poor. Like hillbilly methhead third world shit in a bucket because you have no running water poor. And in rural Alabama counties (of any color) there tends to be only one license office in the whole county, a desk at the courthouse, and it's only open during weekdays.

So it's inconvenient to get a license/ID for the first time, because you have to get there, have $25 or whatever, and probably don't have any proof of who you are. On the other hand, Alabama cares less about that than most states (unless you pay extra for the federally compliant ID that is valid for domestic air travel), and once you have it you can renew by mail forever. (Eye tests for drivers? Fuck that, it might cost tax dollars.)

That's the theory, anyway.
