Pretty sure her story about this entire fiasco has been posted and ridiculed on the internet years before Fredrick even created his documentary in the subject, pretty much everything in that documentary has been well known and reported as well on multiple sites.

I wonder what compelled this woman to emerge from her dusty coffin and attempt to slander Fred.

She's projecting hard in the replies since she know she got completely called out in his doc.

Having watched the video, my takeaway is that the K-class submarines were one of the most horribly designed vehicles in the history of warfare and the British Navy was run by stubborn dumbasses.

Having watched the video, my takeaway is that the K-class submarines were one of the most horribly designed vehicles in the history of warfare and the British Navy was run by stubborn dumbasses.

It really should never have been as close as it was during WW1 and 2. The Germans were in both wars outmanned, outgunned, and with most of their fleet stuck in the Baltic Sea.

Especially during WW2 Germany is presented as this massive threat, with a whopping navy of 4 battleships vs 15 in the Royal Navy, and also a complete lack of carriers or much of a screening flotilla on the German side

Now some of that was just the Royal Navy hyping up the threat to justify its overwhelming size, but there are few examples in the war where the Royal Navy fared favourably in engagements where they didn't have a massive tactical advantage

I'll be honest, I kinda expected something that takes more effort than a reading of a century old maritime fuckup, after 7 months of downtime. Unless there's a double feature, that's pretty crazy schedule slip.

On the event itself. The more I hear about WW1, the more I realize that the only thing brits did well in the war was using propaganda to convince Americans that they were the good guys.

It seems to me that it was one of his videos that required a lot of time dedicated to research and digging hard to find information (that a lot of it was literally hidden from public eye for over half a century) whilst the finished product is still something that was everything it wanted to be, kinda pales in comparison when you look at the sheer length of time his other videos went on for (like the wings doc and deep blue).

I do really enjoy listening to his expose on his internet denizens and yeah I would like to see more of his content more often, but if he did that he would be forced to cut back a lot of things he wants presented in his work, so even if he does release videos at the rate he does now, I can understand it completely, it takes a lot of time and effort regardless.

Idk man, it's a relatively limited amount of material released and the events depicted were very surface level. Compare and contrast IH's Costa Concordia video that actually delved into previous events, ongoing events on the bridge, lies spun by the media and aftermath.

Of course you can never underestimate the amount of autistic research one can do, but I've seen the schedule slip of content creators play out too out too much.

I'd argue that the Hunley was worse, but only because it was the first combat submarine and couldn't navigate underwater for shit.

I have no specific source, it was on his Discord/Patreon or something else along those lines.

However, to ready this thread for disappointment, he’s also mentioned that he plans to do far less videos on Internet personalities, though he’s not counting them out entirely as he’s interested in potentially doing them on topics like Yandere Simulator and Channel Awesome.
