An asexual isn't really qualified to lecture other people about sexual attraction since he would have no concept of what that was like.

Although, I don't really believe he is asexual. I think maybe his surgery was botched and he is not able to function sexually. Forced celibacy is not the same thing as not having sexual attraction towards anyone. I think that is a more reasonable explanation for his PTSD / pills problem than being triggered by TERFs on the internet.

Let’s give Rhys the benefit of the doubt and say that he’s not being disingenuous, he genuinely is too dumb to grasp a concept that actual retards can comprehend.

Maybe this will help. You know how a trans woman has always been a woman, it’s not a choice? You know how her body is structurally male, she’s been raised male, she acts male? The only thing that makes her female is that she just feels that she is female. She doesn’t have to prove or justify it.

By the same token, people “just feel” that they are only attracted to certain other people. That too may seem illogical, but again, they don’t have to prove or justify it.

If Rhys thinks people should work to change their preferences, I say him first. It’s the troons who can’t get laid. There’s no shortage of cis women in the world. Sorry no one fancies you, Rhys.

Because, they're still a tad touchy about the religious right using the same arguments about morality to pressure them into changing their orientation.

If the conclusion you want to reach is "people should be forced to have sex with me whether they are attracted to me or not" -- then the only logical path to get to that point is declaring pansexuality the only moral choice. But, it is bad form to try to format your arguments to bolster some preconceived outcome. I would have thought that a philosopher, of all people, should understand that.
