I've had arguments like this with friends about the whole men competing as women thing. The most frequent comparison I get is that of the dominance of blacks in sports. Since black people generally do better in sports than whites and that could be seen as an unfair advantage, letting men compete is no different than letting black people dominate sports.
It's an argument that's dumb and racist while attempting to use racism for woke points, which makes it doubly slimy. Let's assume the premise of the argument, that blacks are in fact better than whites at sports, not because of some social preference that encourages blacks to engage in sports more, or because of prejudice that leaves it as one of the few purely merit based areas where, despite racism, they can still succeed.
Let's ignore those things and assume blacks actually are just better at sports, inherently.
Well, so what? Why not have one thing where white people get to lose sometimes. And that's even assuming that the premise is true, even though the premise is itself offensively racist. If you look at sports in general, some of them are a lot whiter, whereas something like basketball is practically a fucking sacrament to black Americans, so no wonder they do better at it.
It's not like you won't have a Larry Bird or a Jack Dempsey, though. You will never, ever, not in a million years, have a woman power lifting champion even in the second tier of lifting, at least not without transhuman-level genetic engineering to the point the male/female binary literally ceases to exist in a physical sense.
