It really is astounding how powerful biology is and how finely honed the human instinct to identify who is male vs who is female is.

He loved it when he was front and centre, but now he's proved fallible or rather, others have opened him up to proving fallible (because Rhys isn't capable of being wrong or imperfect), fort like bravado isn't available to him right now.
