Dr. Who -

Stab You in the Back

Agreed, I think Moffat is the most professional of all of them. He has a dry sense of humor that comes out in interviews, but that's it.

The Tumblr version of Moffat needs to die in a fire. Most of it probably stems from the pregnant!Amy plotline, which I didn't like either, but Moffat's companions are cool and nuanced. If he gets over his skis with plotlines sometimes, it's better than whatever hugbox plots Chibnall is doing now. Give me a conflict!

None of them challenge the Doctor in meaningful ways. I know Clara could be a bit much sometimes, but at least in schlock like Kill the Moon she told the Doctor to fuck off when he basically played a game of live or die with the entire planet. The Doctor NEEDS that sort of companion. The Doctor without that sort of companion is just The Master in all but name.

Idiot Asshole

Moffat is a dumbass (they don't call him Mofftwat for nothing) but he's probably the best showrunner NuWho has had. Chibnall is your average self-hating anorak (that mid-80s Pip and Jane interview is damning) who probably masturbates to the thought of Tom Baker and Romana fucking while Scaroth sits in the corner and cries and masturbates while RTD is a literal faggot who would worship at the altar of The Happiness Patrol if it wasn't enshrined as one of those "the 80s sucked for Doctor Who lol" stories.

Don't get me wrong, he's still a cockhead who's too far up his own ass (especially after Series 5) but at least he gave us one (ONE) good season before turning to dross, which is more than I can say for Chibnall or Davies. Also he once namechecked the chumblies, how can I truly hate a guy like that?

You must not be familiar with some of the scripts he wrote for Torchwood.

"Day One" was about a sex addicted alien shagging men to death, and "Cyberwoman" gave us this:

I was unable to find a picture of it, but she was wearing heels instead of the standard boots.
I never watched Torchwood and nothing in this makes me feel that was a bad choice.

Heard about Micky's actor getting MeToo'd tangentially. ITV took it so seriously they didn't even put on the final episode of the series he's currently in. Just released it online. Fuck off ITV, that's pretty empty virtue signaling even by current standards.

Much as I may dislike his writing, I think Chinballs is the least likely to have done something dodgy. He seems like too much of a wimp and his writing's so sexless I really can't imagine him trying anything on. Then again, there have been some surprise sex pests before, so I wouldn't rule anything out.
See, this is why I think Chinballs is the most likely of the three to have done some really creepy shit in his past.

Just look at this picture...
download.jpg

This is clearly the face of a man who never even saw, let alone touched, a vagina until he got a little bit of power in the entertainment industry. I wouldn't at all be surprised if it turns out that he used that power to take advantage of some women over the years.

As far as I'm concerned, his SJW bullshit only cements this even further. How many times have we seen "male feminists" in the entertainment industry end up being scummy abusive pieces of shit? (Joss Whedon obviously immediately springs to mind... but he wasn't the first, and he isn't the last.)

The lot of them are all creepy fucking predators, and they clearly feel guilty about that (as they should) So they all overcompensate with the excessive social justardation, and use their pulpit to tell us why we should all feel terrible because of the shit that *they* feel guilty about doing.

The can all go fuck themselves for it, especially Chinballs for letting his guilt ruin Doctor Who.

I wouldn't be surprised if Moffat had some skeletons either. He said that after his divorce from his first wife he shagged his way around studios like a mechanical digger (his exact words), and he never passed up a chance to get Karen Gillan in something skimpy.
I mean, would you pass up that chance? It’s Amy Pond.

But is it worse than Love and Monsters? Or any of the other bad episodes after 2005 (and what even is that list)?

Wasn’t there one episode where Clara told Capaldi “I’ll slap you so hard you’ll regenerate”?

Wasn’t there some parts of David Tennant and Matt Smith where that aspect of The Doctor was talked about as in, “you’re letting a lot of shit get to your head and you’re letting your ego grow to dangerous levels”? It’d make sense if you think that more of New Who starts to come across more as people making their fan fictions canon more and more as time goes on.

The Time Lord Victorious is basically this trope in action.

Scrapping wholesale it the month it's supposed to release? That's pretty close to the wire, and it probably cost them a bit of money given that it was supposed to star David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor.

I find it funny that the three people BF has cut ties with are all white and gay. The only difference is Barrowman hasn't gotten tarred with the transphobia brush yet ( that I've seen anyway )

Why does everybody have to pretend they give a shit about what Barrowman did? Dude walked around with his balls out of his pants for a giggle, and may have made some inappropriate comments, but it's not like he went full Cosby. As far as celebrity sex abuse allegations this is very much a "so what? who cares?"

Because of the sexual harrassment claims against Noel Clarke a clip resurfaced of him joking about John Barrowman's behaviour on set.
