It's not that it's hard to make a Trump joke, it's that it's hard to make a new Trump joke. After five years of every "comedian" having every permutation of "orange man bad" as their entire schtick, what's left to say about the man?

As far as the video goes, I'll watch it when I have the time. So I may check back in six months.

Eh, I mean there are plenty of things that are funny to rip on Trump about, and it is *totally* possible to be able to tell funny, and even correct, jokes about Trump without suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

If you are incapable of laughing at your own political views, whatever they may be, then you are worthy of laughter.
It may be possible, and I'm willing to have an open mind about it. But having said that, I have not heard one joke about Trump that I found funny or clever. Perhaps because they almost always come from a position of pure hatred, which is usually the death of comedy.

Andrew Klavan once did an intro into one of his shows that took shots at EVERYBODY, Trump, congress, etc and it was screamingly funny.

So yeah, one exception to prove your rule.

EDIT. Located it. Episode 256.

I've been a long time Dr who fan growing up with it and all, even went to see the 50 year special in theaters. I never liked the 11th doctor and just found him annoying. I got back into the show with the 12th but other than the ep "Heaven Sent" I found the writing to be nothing but annoying again.

For example the ep Kill the Moon gives the viewer a moral problem, here's the context.
"Based on the seismic activity and the amniotic fluid the Doctor finds, he determines that the Moon is actually an egg ..The Doctor puts her plan in context to blow up a new creature with nuclear bombs...the Moon's disintegration is causing catastrophic weather effects on Earth, and needs to be destroyed to save the world"
So basically, it's kill the creature (the last of it's kind) and kill half the people on earth or do nothing and let everyone die. They talk about what to do and vote to kill it to save the earth, but Clara knowing full well she would be causing the deaths of everyone on earth refuses to push the button. But the Egg disintegrates and it's "shell" doesn't harm the earth at all even though that's exactly what the problem was established to begin with. It deflates the moral question and seemed like something from a kids cartoon more than a science fiction show.

I also tried watching the first ep with the 13th but somehow the show looks even worse. The story made even less sense, even from plot point A to B it doesn't make any sense. I know there was a lot of pressure on making the doctor a woman, but they got the shittiest writers in the world and that killed the show more than anything. Doctor who has also always had a diverse group of people to make up it's cast but the new show looks more like an advert than a show. It also doesn't help that despite being a diverse group, no one think's differently or has a different way of looking at problems. look at the differences between the Doctor and Jack harkness, they have different ways of solving problems and different morals, this show never even tries that.

Oh, it's out there. It's just hidden behind the waves of "hate pretending to be a joke" style skits.

But don't you worry, brother - I have your back!

To be fair, most of the YouTube criticism of Doctor Who lately has been rubbish. A lot of it's a sad holdover from the anti-SJW/Skeptic community era, with lots of clickbait titles and whipping up outrage, but very little analysis of the genuine issues. There's also been some cross pollination with the QAnon style hopium the Fandom Menace has been flogging lately, with people saying Chibnall is totally going to be fired any day now and the show is totally going to be cancelled, despite there being no hard evidence of any such thing occurring.

I think what Jay's trying to say is that there is a lot to criticise about the Chibnall era that isn't just "GRRR SJWs, forced diversity, woke PC blah blah blah". There are good criticisms to be made around that stuff, and I think Jay did a good job of breaking down just how lazy Chibnall had been in engaging with hot button political issues. But most of the discourse around it has been KiA/NoBS-tier and it's burying a lot of valid criticism.

I heard some funny Trump impressions from Nick Rekieta's streams if that counts.

Why is there an issue with being anti-sjw?

The forced diversity shit is what's allowing the writing to get worse. And the hot button political issues aren't worth being discussed as it's mostly based on hysteria these days.

Because anti-SJW’s are just dumb, faggy, cliquey grifters of a different stripe. Just look at the “Fandom Menace” crowd - they’re not WRONG about Disney Wars being trash, but that doesn’t make them NOT dumb, faggy, cliquey grifters.

Then again, you’re the dumb faggot who got banned from the anime thread for only ever posting anti-SJW doomfaggotry, so of course you’re too deep into that hole to understand that sometimes, normal people just want to talk about the things they enjoy (or take the piss on things they used to) without constantly being bombarded with retarded culture wars BS from both sides.

He also got laughed out of the Resident Evil thread for saying him being unable to look up Jill Valentine's skirt was Capcom going full SJW, and he's perfectly happy to throw the entire site under the bus to own the libs.

I mean it does slow down the progress towards getting rid of these things lol.

I am trying to warn them about SJWs ruining anime I don't see the issue with that.

Pasty boy representing himself with a drawing of a frumpy lesbian aside, why are there so many episodes in this era alone where the 'aliens' of the story are just regular people with stuff drawn on their faces? Is that common in Classic Who too? It looks so boring and lazy.

The Ark in Space, which was an excellent classic Who story, featured an alien that was basically bubble wrap spray painted green. Having said that, it's frustrating that one episode of Doctor Who looks like it costs as much as an entire season of the old show, yet it's not nearly as good.

The aliens from the Eccelston/Tennant era were pretty decent. The Ood and the Sontarans are memorable to say the least.
