Yes, it makes sense for Jackie but it makes no sense to any Muslim or gay man. You're presenting Islam as compatible with gay men, which is of course impossible. I understand the angle of she's doing it because Muslims have a place in America but it comes at the whole cost of, y'know, gay men don't belong in Islam. Drag politics is queer in the sense that everybody educates one another to figure out which groups are oppressed / reviled by Middle America, but not enough to actually understand why.

Quite a few drag race veterans have come out as trans or non-binary, and while it's all on the path to self-actualisation and the like, the majority, in doing so, validate TERF hypothesis. It's female impersonation, after all, and a few would rather be their drag persona all the time than ever take the mask off. In the show's ruthless pursuit for scandal and drama, they dredge up traumatic episodes from contestants' past and have them 'open up' (read; break down) in front of the judges, whereupon RuPaul pretends this isn't just a paycheck for him and LARPs that he's this emotional wreck's drag mother-- NOTE; this type of contestant doesn't win, but it's good TV so they stick around another few weeks.
Most people have some sort of trauma, there's nothing wrong with that. Part of being an adult is managing it, but when you tell me Peppermint got the shit kicked out of him by masculine basketball players, and faced 0 ostracisation by the cheerleaders for being an effeminate gay kid... like does that not indicate to everybody else that transitioning is less about innate feeling and more about external interactions with certain toxic people, that your mind reconciled as the result of masculinity full stop?

As for when fans of the show dogpile Goldbloom for asking questions? I mean, Jackie brought it on himself by wearing such an outfit. You don't get to flaunt islamic garb, and claim to make a political statement and then expect 0 tough questions, especially when that religion's mainstream doesn't even show a hint of budging on various social issues that are today normalised in the West. Keep in mind, this is the same drag queen showcased earlier in the episode as being deeply passionate about politics and social issues, loyal Rachel Maddow viewer etc. Trouble is, Jackie's not even American, he's Canadian. I don't actually feel any emotions towards the runway look-- liked Widow's a bit better, but it's strange to come at the audience telling people how to think on a foreign country's politics, and then get choked up and incoherent defending Islam, something that is intrinsic to your identity, but something you clearly haven't spent as much time articulating the nuances of.

Sharon has been messed up and has a history with substance abuse and bad behavior. There was a vine (that unfortunately I can't find) of Sharon slapping a fan, and putting out a cigarette on her skin. But they were both adults and it was a consensual "joke". Kids and drags do NOT mix, and this is why.

No, they usually aren’t, but the ones who troon out are, at least in theory. They don’t realize a passable queen isn’t a passable transvestite.

Drag is interesting as a form of theater. Queens do some crazy shit with makeup and costuming, and from, say, a LARP perspective, there's a lot to learn from them. I've used drag queen tutorials to help create character makeup.
