It’s like going out to a restaurant. While at a restaurant you are served by a waiter or waitress. They will take your order, serve your food, and even refill your drinks. They will wait on you hand and foot. At the end of the night when they bring you your bill, they will explain to you that they could be really good at waiting if they wanted to. They will tell you they are totally broke and overdrawn on their bank account yet again. And they just talked to their tax attorney who just informed them that they have to pay taxes on all the money they made last year. They will tell you they really like the house they live in and don’t want to lose it. Then bitch about this other house they own on the other side of the country that they are still paying the mortgage on despite not having lived there for the last five years. They may also tell you that their parents, despite not being retired, are on their deathbeds and they may not get to see them ever again if they don’t go back to visit soon. Oh, and their girlfriend/boyfriend really wants to meet their parent’s pets as well. They will tell you they need that money, they really do. They need that money to pay their bills and that tipping them is the best way to help them right now because they get that money right away. They just need to get over this last hurdle.

The idea fascinates me that he has somehow received all the money to pay his taxes with donations from both his viewers and his parents etc. and is somehow still sinking into a black hole somewhere more money than can even be explained with his WWE Champions account.

He owed $15,000 (approximately) of his 2018 federal taxes at the time of his bankruptcy filing. He listed a monthly payment of $500. You could back out, assuming he put the $4000 from Ma Burnell and the ~$3500 from his two begathons to the taxes, that he initially owed something like $23,000-$25,000. As I recall, that number matched up (within reason) with what soapqueen had calculated based on my annual income total. As for 2019's federal taxes? Who knows. If he actually didn't pay anything on them, he probably owes a similar amount (if not more).

His income was pretty good from 2011 until about 2015 when machinima dropped him. They gave him an absurd contract where he got paid per view so all he had to do was spam as many videos as possible. His income dipped from 2015 too around time Leanna left. After she left Vidar sparked the twitch donations saga. Ever since then he's been making about 100kish and its been pretty stable. He has been banking very little of that though we can assume for various reasons.

As blackpilled as one can get following DSP I believe in the long game. no matter how stable his income is either now or 5 years from now he's got little to no savings to speak of retirement is out of the question. combined with the fact that we are definitely seeing his health start to decline if only slightly. my guess 1 or 2 Medical emergencies and he will be perma fucked financially without the do over of a bankruptcy.

nah i'm pretty sure he just has a debit card linked to his paypal, and paypal is his default payment method

Phil stated that because he activated the code through his playstation (so the PS store presumably? I don't own the console), it linked to the payment method used on there, which was his paypal according to him.

I'm not familiar with the financial ecosystem on the playstation and in the US in general, so honestly I couldn't tell you if some fuckery is afoot here regarding services being able to do stuff like this. You know, because it wouldn't be the first time our boy has lied about money stuff.

Yeah there is absolutely zero percent chance anything but the minimum payment will ever be made on that card until his next fraudulent bankruptcy.

The credit card company still needed to claim the taxes as exempt from discharge and none of them did. It's far more likely that he either paid off the taxes with him minimums and all that remained was interest that can be discharged or the CC companies didn't give enough of a shit to dig in to see if any of his debt was actually non-dischargeable. There is no reason for him to not list all his cards to get the interest removed even if it still leaves him on the hook for the taxes.

I think it's too early for him to fall for one of the post bankruptcy predatory CCs. People who get burned by credit tend to avoid it entirely because their lack of self control got them there to begin with and instead of learning some self control they just remove the temptation entirely. It'll take a little more time for something to come along to forget he got "burned" and dives back in. But one thing to consider, for all we know the horse has all the credit cards he could ever need.
