I assume zero business expenses because they're hard to input into my existing calculator. Negligible and barely affect his taxes at all.

Take-home pay: $8,182.83 per fucking month. Overall tax rate: 25.8%. B&O is another 1.5% on top, not shown, just under $2,000.

This assumes he isn't itemizing his deductions. If he is he may be paying even less.

An employed person would be paying $1000 less if you forget their employer isn't paying half the FICA and would give the employee that money if they weren't.
