And with DStecks, the complaint of the CWC trolling communities being a GG test run is nothing more than an attempt of him trying to distance himself from all of this and ignoring the fact that before Eron was even going out with Zoe Quinn up to the Five Guys shit, the people trolling Chris weren't all right wingers. IRC, cogsdev is trans and the reason cogs would try to troll Chris was because Chris didn't like the gays. This quote from Alec sums it up.

If anything, the early crowd of Chris trolls leaned heavily left, if you consider opposition to his homophobia and racism to be leftist things.

Incidentally, some of the woke folks these days who used to be trolls are basically the ones who naively assumed standing up to authoritarians would always and only mean opposing republicans and got salty when the winds changed. Seems pretty obvious dstecks can be counted as one of those.
