YouTube brought in $20 billion in revenue for Google. I guarantee you they don't let interns in the rooms where the account is managed, much less on the actual Twitter account. If it's domestically operated, the person managing it is well paid but obviously didn't do their due diligence. If they farm out managing replies to some overseas office, those people are also well paid compared to the average person but also didn't do any due diligence.

I don't understand where people get the idea that interns are running social media accounts for large, trillion-dollar multinational companies, especially in the year 2021. The people running these things have degrees in business and communications with years of experience. But they're still going to fuck up because it's impossible to intimately know the YouTube drama for millions of channels.
