Myself and a nearby person are interested in purchasing one - any idea if this act applies only to notable trolls (e.g. people who generally show up for him as being a troll due to their email/username having been used on troll sites) or people who send him negative feedback or is it random and generally just down to how he is feeling that day?

Funny as it would be, I doubt Chris is actually at PVCC at 8 in the morning. More likely, since he's posting from his phone, it probably is just automatically generating his location. My phone has said I was up to a county away from my actual location in the past. Those things aren't always accurate...
