Yo, second thread here. I just couldn't resist.
So for those of you who are familiar with Games of Thrones, the first episode of the seventh season just came out yesterday night on HBO. It was nice, and promised to be an exciting season for GOT.
Well, in a certain scene in this episode, one of the main characters, Arya, encounters a group of young enemy soldiers, Lannisters to be exact. Before she encountered them, she could hear one of them singing a lovely song about girls and drinks. The solider that was signing happened to be Ed Sheeran, who was rumored to have a cameo in GOT season 7. The rest of the scene goes accordingly without any problems, but the damage has already been done.
Despite the fact that there have been previous musicians who cameoed on GOT, Ed Sheeran's cameo particularly rustled many fans' feathers. The fans took to reddit and youtube to talk about their annoyance on this particular scene.
People either:
1. annoyed that Ed's cameo broke their immersion of the episode
2. believe that this cameo is only used to promote his latest album
3. believe that he doesn't look he belongs in the GOT world
4. Mad that he took precious screen times from their beloved character, Arya.
5. Just happy that he's in the show.
Overall people just want him to be killed off by the next episode. If he's still alive by then, expect for some more salt.
