To the right in the kitchen there's a litterbox that gets cleaned about once a month, sometimes less, so the place reeks of ammonia. I debated posting these for a long time but I really want people to understand the squalor involved here when there's several fully functional adults living here that just don't clean because they'd rather do drugs and get wasted. It's appalling. I hope they understand this isn't cute or fun to live this way, it's fucking horrifying.

Meth smells like hella pee. Cat pee even. Even though Zach is a notorious piss lover there's no denying he's well into his meth habit and meth generally makes people stink. Then again I've heard firsthand accounts from former partners and housemates that Zach never took care of himself, rarely showered, and even liked being gross and crusty, so who really knows the extent of it?

Also ... how did you even end up stepping foot inside that hole? I'd love to see more pictures if you have them, although I can imagine what the rooms must look like if that's just the sink and the kitchen.

To take a shower you have to turn an exposed screw in the shower with pliers because the handle fell off and no one bothered replacing it. The hot water for the kitchen sink needed to be turned on from underneath the sink. People using each other's razors and toothbrushes without asking. Enema kits left out, sometimes for days. Unwashed stored sex toys, poppers and empty beer cans everywhere. ROACHES. So many roaches. Food left out on counters until it gets moldy. Just, overall, super gross, borderline demo house at this point. A lot of takeout because no one wants to touch the month-high pile of dishes.
Had to be in a very weird headspace to live there. Basically "don't bother because no one else will."

Tbh I didn't take many pictures inside because I felt ashamed to even be there. The TLDR version is that a member of my family died last year so I needed to make an emergency move. I was there from around January til June of this year. I have been friends with Eden for around 3 years. I visited once to do drugs with Eden and didn't want to come back, but I was pretty much out of options. I know this probably comes across as throwing her under the bus but I was at my limit seeing her continue to throw her life away.

Now, this would be normal human grossness stuff otherwise but I'm REALLY worried for the pets that live there. The reason I ended up moving was a mix of medical stuff (trying to avoid hep in a bathroom like that? not thanks) but there's a dog. And I'm someone who's nerdy about dogs. The last fight was me telling Ash and her wife to not touch the dog when he was growling and basically being treated like shit after that. They now keep a prong collar on their dog 24/7 and shove him in a cage where he literally will scream for hours instead of, idk, playing with it. Eden actually does some chores - Ash is the one that let the house degrade to the point it's at and will yell at or shut down anyone who says otherwise. It's a really weird situation.

The reason I ended up deciding "fuck Eden" later on was because she smoked weed. Now - normally, with any other human being, this wouldn't be an issue. But the last time I saw her smoke weed she tried to strangle one of the roommates there. And the time before that she tried to kill someone else and wandered like 10 miles away. Both times she was hospitalized for psychotic breaks. The fact she'd even want to ATTEMPT to smoke weed after that imo shows that she doesn't give a shit about her own safety or the safety of those around her. I don't think she's a rapist or pedo or whatever, but she's definitely in need of some serious "do I really wanna do this with my life" talk no one else is willing to give her. She tried smoking weed a few weeks ago even after all that. Like. Why.

Eden also has an obvious thing for fucking randos and does so at most opportunities (cons, car trips, whatever) without actually checking if that's okay or getting STD tests. I'm afraid that something like hep could VERY easily spread in conditions like that.

Sounds pretty much exactly like the stories I've heard from his old exes. I saw a post from one of them detailing the shit they had to do to clean up after him after he got kicked out of the old Knoxville meth den. It's like an episode of Hoarders except turn the disregard for hygiene up to 11.

Can vouch for that. Years ago we lived in a sketch (ier ) neighborhood (than usual). The neighborhood's trash cans started reeking of something that smelled like cat piss only a bit 'sharper' in odor. About a month later, the place down the street got raided as a meth lab. These guys were dumping their scrap in the neighbor's trash to keep the laws off their trail. At any rate, some of the most popular meth these days is DiY, and speed is a notorious partner in many famously ill advised sexual forays- I'd consider meth.
