The sad thing is that because it's the internet, everything just becomes a game of he-said-she-said, and no-one is willing to take any action because there's no hard proof, and anyone can make allegations on the internet. Realistically, it's going to be a coupe of decades in the future when the victims finally come forward and provide screenshots and logs before we see any definite action against these sick fucks.

I think it's also worth noting that there are many victims (in general, not just Shine's) that are afraid of the stigma they'd get from reporting abuse. While it's definitely not their fault they're naive back then (we all do regrettable stuff in our youth), it doesn't stop others from making unfair judgments towards them. Many abuse victims never really come forward to file cases against their accusers, which unfortunately keeps these sick asshats in the wild.
