Electro Swing? -

Not sure if it's the same thing, but I got into the Matthew Herbert Big Band because of the production he did on Roisin Murphy's album Ruby Blue, and a number of remixes he did for Bjork that were fantastic. I had a copy of Goodbye Swingtime years ago and I remember not really getting into it, except as background music, but I'm gonna try and track down another copy because I think I'd enjoy it more now.

I'm not familiar with it but these sound cool. What bands would you recommend cause I already like swing music too and I like the influence that it clearly has on these tracks.

A good channel I've found lots of mixes from is this place: XefoxMusic

Basically make albums of all sorts of more "niche" genres like Electroswing, Glitchhop etc. Nice stuff to listen to.

There's a bunch of Undertale Mixes that are Electro Swing and all by the same channel/person called "The Musical Ghost that I like a lot:

Also this is the best Caravan Palace song imo:

I've found to Caravan Palace is something of a gateway group into electro swing but there's so much more offered in the genre. I liked them at first but after finding others like Parov Stelar, Odjbox, and Tape Five they're kinda..insipid in comparison. By no means am I knocking their success 'cause it's great that they've found their success in a niche genre. I just find them to be lacking that extra snap to 'em. Too much electro not enough swing.
