Can I get gluten free bread please?
This circus is starting to get boring. Can we have aliens now? At least maybe some UFOs like were over Phoenix Arizona that time?

That would be awesome - and a nice little final "fuck you" by breaking everyone's toys on the way out.
The $600 should have been deposited into your accounts by now. Who's spent theirs already?
Lol no, both parties should be tossed in the dumpster for allowing this economy-crippling overreaction to persist.Georgia voters need to send the Democrats to Washington DC. I want that $2000 Biden Bucks.
This year, celebrating the 4th was like a "fuck you" to the government with a lot of the local governments saying not to shoot off fireworks for that day because muh corona.Lol no, both parties should be tossed in the dumpster for allowing this economy-crippling overreaction to persist.
Now we have to beg and suck government dick to get a small amount of what their measures cost us. I'm amazed people can still celebrate the 4th with a straight face. The alcohol must help.
1 day of impotent defiance for nearly a year of social and economic ravaging. What can you do though? We've dug ourselves into a pretty shit situation. This year, celebrating the 4th was like a "fuck you" to the government with a lot of the local governments saying not to shoot off fireworks for that day because muh corona.
I have to take one of my kittens to the vet in the morning (poor guy hurt his leg), the rest I'm saving. Seriously thinking about combing it with my tax refund money in a month to buy a mid-tier gaming pc. If the world is going to hell, might as well have a decent rig to ride it out with.

Guess what has turned into another colossal fuckup?

Unfortunately people can’t file right now as the IRS is scrambling to update the 1040 form for the estimated 20 million people who are qualified for but aren’t getting the January stimulus check. Even if you received the April 2020 check it is no guarantee to get this latest check. Part of this stems from Congress changing the criteria from 2018 tax return to 2019 AGI (adjusted gross income).
And if you efiled with TurboTax or H&R Block, it went to the wrong bank account.
Classic IRS.Yep, this happened to us. We got the April check no problem. I didn't realize the second round of checks had already started being deposited, figured it'd just show up sometime in the first week or two of January, not worried about it. Then I learned there's a tracking tool so I checked that, and got the message to basically go fuck myself and claim it as a tax credit. We're fortunate enough that our lives aren't going to totally fall apart from this, but I was reading comments online from other people who had this happen and a lot of them won't be so lucky. Dick move, IRS.
It's not just that. For those unaware, e-file generally accepts returns for three tax years at a time. There is a window at the end of the year -- usually starting in late November or early December and lasting through mid-January -- where e-file is temporarily inactive while programmers remove the oldest tax year from the system and add the coming year. With the latest COVID bill going down to the wire and having provisions that impact individual and business tax returns, e-file this year won't begin until February 12:Unfortunately people can’t file right now as the IRS is scrambling to update the 1040 form for the estimated 20 million people who are qualified for but aren’t getting the January stimulus check. I do, too, especially regarding the Democrat's interest in UBI and Medicare for All if that's to be provided free or below cost. The money for those large-expenditure items has to come from somewhere and policies that discourage people from working result in fewer Federal tax dollars being collected towards these programs. This worsens the already-growing national debt and makes the US more indebted to China who already has the US over a barrel.I wish more people understood this:
