Emmy and Reviewbrah are pretty much the only food channels on youtube that I watch unironically. Nice to see someone on YT being honest about their work for a change.
My sister watches these when she eats and I wonder why she does it. Wouldn't eating food while watching someone make it make you hungry?
She's got a nice voice for commentary, I'll give her that. I like the weird stuff she gets and the Jail Food stuff she makes.

I started watching Emmy on her 3 video or so, I adore her. Her retro recipe videos are great.

At least she isn't a flaming sped pretending to be in touch with ancient food, like Ashens.
Speaking of which Ashens food reviews are fucking boring the tits off of me, he should stick to other nerd paraphernalia.
Food Wishes isn't bad either, and he doesn't fluff it up with five different ways to prepare food in the middle of a three step recipe, like the Buzzfeed aligned food channels do.

The queen of gross food returns with a new series.
One of her recent videos has given me cause for alarm.
It has a secondary static camera, which is fine, but it also has a cameraperson filming the closeups as she cooks. I hadn't thought about it until now, but I value highly the image of Emmy as just a woman pottering around the house looking for something to do, then turning a camera on and doing something ridiculous that nobody else would rightly care about save for internet weirdos. The cameraperson for some reason broke this (probably incorrect) sense I had of her being the ultimate evolution of the outsider filming themselves in their car using a phone.

I absolutely love the way she makes the "Fruity Fruits" and "Emmy eats the world" series videos, too bad they aren't popping up as often as she used to make them.
Another great series of hers are the "you made what?" vintage recipe videos, even if digusting she has a way of making the process a fun experience.
