Because Linda wears purple clothes (the jelly) and Robert has brown hair (the peanut butter).

To be honest, the bottom picture isn't all that bad. It's actually pretty decent.

The thing is that is made by one of the project's main artists
and instead of being focused, she is basically doing fanart.
Not that she'd have anything else to do seeing how slowly this project is moving.
It seems like she's excited about GA, but she can't work on it that often.
