I've heard many people on here post that Chris believes he is entitled to sex. Sometimes it's Chris believes that his sweet-heart is supposed to owe him sex for all the stress he's been through, while other times it's that Chris thinks that all women should be available to have sex with him.

To be honest, I've never actually heard Chris say that he is entitled to it. Is there actual proof that he thinks this way, or is it just a joke?

It isn't just sex, if he desires something, then he believes he's entitled to it.

It's one of the defining factors of Chris existence. And arguably the root cause of most of his more idiotic episodes.

I don't think he's ever baldly stated "I deserve sex." I'm not entirely convinced that sex is the driving force behind the Sweetheart Search. It's impossible to say what Chris-Chan believes or doesn't believe at any given time - partly because we can't ask him directly and partly because what Chris believes seems to change quite a bit over time. But we can infer from his actions what the motive is behind them.

Chris's original motive appears to have been simply wanting someone to sympathize with him when he feels sad and make him feel less lonely. Later he started complaining about his "slam-banging hormones" and hinting he was worried about getting a new mommy to take care of him. But it's the way he went about finding his one true heartsweet that indicates Our Pet Manbaby has what's popularly known as "entitlement issues."

Somewhere long the line, Chris-Chan formulated the idea that there were a finite number of women in the world (true) and that other men were cruelly taking all the good ones (false) thus leaving none for him to choose from (idiotic.) Inherent in this formulation is the implication that Chris deserves sweetheart at all.

This implication is consistent both with autistic people in general and Chris in particular. We know that many autistic people have trouble with abstract concepts. Their coping mechanism is to develop very strict, concrete rules (the "Three Date Rule") that must be adhered to in all situations. When this doesn't work, frustration builds up to the point where they often retreat into a fantasy world of their own making (Cwcville.) In developing his own rather bizarre set of rules, Chris-Chan appears to have determined that, either by circumstance or intention, he is being wrongfully denied something that is rightfully his - a choice of sweetheart from among the pool of available women.

This may be an unconscious assumption on his part, or a more fully developed determination that he has never fully expressed. Either way, it gives rise to charges of sexism and narcissism which I think are not entirely unwarranted.

(Edited because I'm a lousy speller. )

Think of the loveshies. They think being nice to a woman means she has to sleep with them. The touching shit he does is actually very feminine, so I don't know how the fuck he ended up with it.

Why is it every time Chris exhibits a certain behavior its almost always feminine?

Because he pays more attention to women rather than men. After all, analyzing what men do is homo.

Quoted for emphasis.

To add to the autism point, he basically thinks that everything needs to have a 100% predictable outcome - if I achieve X romance points with (insert girl), then (insert girl) will sex me. In his head there is no room for the girl to make her own decisions or - perish the thought - not follow the exact same plan of action that he expects every woman to follow. He doesn't understand the concept that people are individuals and everyone has different wants and standards for behavior/interaction.

This is reinforced by his belief that idealized media like porn, rom-coms , and dating games are educational. These things tend to follow a set of cliche's to their inevitable climax. To Chris, these cliche's are as good as immovable rules that must be adhered to receive the reward at the end. Even more so in the games where they are rules that have been hard coded into the program with no room for deviation.

I'm maybe assuming too much, but I could almost imagine Chris' thought process goes a bit like this, "Well in that game I played last night, I achieved hanky-panky with the shy, bookish girl in glasses by choosing options A,B,A,C, so that's what I have to do with that quiet girl behind the counter at best buy"

I'm probably exaggerating, but it may be fairly close to the mark.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that understanding Chris' thought processes is worth the irretrievable part of my soul it inevitably costs. :heart-empty:

Maybe he can be convinced to get a job as a pizza delivery guy considering how much of his relationship advice comes from pornos.

Maybe, but you'd have to convince a pizza place to hire him first. Frankly, if I ordered a pizza and the delivery guy showed up looking and smelling like Chris, I wouldn't want it.

Aaaaand there's the sexual harassment suit for the pizza parlor in addition to the possible health violations they'll get just from hiring Chris.
