Erik Estavillo is a middle-age, disabled, mentally handicapped UCLA law school grad (at least according to him) loner from San Jose, California. He is known for filing multiple lolsuits against major gaming companies and corporations related to gaming. He is every bit of an litigious idiot you expect he would be. It would be more impressive to find a list of corporations he hasn't sued.

It is important to note that he is unable or unwilling to find a lawyer to represent him in some of these cases because no self-respecting lawyer would even attach their name to any of these ridiculous cases. So in true lolcow fashion, he makes the foolish choice to represent himself pro se.
Sony Lawsuit (The Original "GamerGater"):
Estavillo main claim to internet fame was when he sued Sony Entertainment for banning him off the PlayStation Network almost a decade ago. While playing an old PlayStation 3 game called "Resistance", Estavillo started shit-talking and may have accidentally said a couple of "gamer words". He sued Sony because he claimed that Sony violated his First Amendment Rights. Of course, this case got thrown out because the 1st Amendment obviously doe not apply to cases like these. It is worth mentioning that this isn't his first run-in with Sony's Jannies. He's been warned several times to stop acting like a retard online before he was hardware ID banned. He tried to claim monetary damages from Sony because he claims:
- He's a loner and has no friends
- He's mentally handicap and his only ability to socialize is the internet
- He has agoraphobia, so he's physically unable to go outside and socialize because of his fear of crowds or something
Remember these three main points, as they are a recurring theme and set of excuses as to why he sues gaming companies.

This is somewhat of a short chapter, but nonetheless still pretty funny. Estavillo attempted to sue GameSpot and several other gaming journalist websites for not hiring him. He claims that the websites discriminated against him because he was mentally handicapped, and not because he's an annoying sped or anything.

Funny to note that he also claims that website employers "led him on" to thinking he was going be to be hired like he was in the Sony case.
TheCoomer Twitch Lawsuit:
Estavillo popped up on everyone's radar for filling what is quite possibly the most ridiculous lawsuit ever filed. He is allegedly suing Twitch for allowing thots to stream on their platform. Again, due to his aforementioned disabilities and the COVID-19 pandemic, he claims to be unable to avoid watching women on Twitch.
Due to the illicit nature and content of the Twitch platform (which he had absolutely no choice but to watch),
