I'm probably taking a risk here posting about YouTube drama nobody cares about, but since some tasty shit has come up about this guy lately I figured he might be worth looking into in regards to threadworthiness.

The guy in the lovely picture above is Ethan Klein. He posts "reaction videos", "comedy videos", and, most recently, "rants" involving other Youtube spergs on both his main channel, H3H3Productions, and his other channel, Ethan and Hila, where he brings along his (as most Youtuber girlfriends are) painfully awkward and femcucked-seeming wife, Hila, along for the autistic ride. They're fairly popular, so I not doubt that the Farms has had a run-in or two with the Kleins and their content, mostly made up of Ethan spouting off like a twelve-year-old who just learned how to swear and Hila silently nodding and agreeing with him. Now, all of this is well and good; lots of YouTube spergs make a living acting like morons on camera. It's pretty likely that they don't act like that when they're off camera, at least not all the time.

The way that Ethan behaves off camera, however, has all the makings of a usual careercow. Recently, Ethan posted a video simply entitled the Leafy Rant, in which he calls out fellow YouTube sperg Leafyishere on a "reaction video" he made where he poked fun at some autistic kid (honestly it wasn't any worse than anything I've seen here on the Farms), and the kid reacted by posting a video of him crying like a little bitch.

Now, the gist of the video is pretty much this; Ethan believes that Leafy should have never picked on the kid in the first place, and that as a "community" YouTube spergs of his ilk should have "standards" about who they should make fun of, and only make fun of people who "deserve it". Coincidentally, that "standard" just so happens to be Ethan's channel, because they've been "doing it for years" and "never make fun of kids or awkward people". Needless to say, there's a bit of a war going on these days between fans of Leafy's content and fans of H3H3's content, but H3H3 gets the thread because of the following PMs.

Now, Leafy and H3H3 used to be friends. In fact, they were such good friends that Leafy helped Ethan get set up with a different YouTube network.

Naturally, like most spergs, Ethan threw Leafy under the bus as soon as Leafy did something Ethan didn't like. He's also incredibly defensive of his "original" content, mostly comprised of "reactions" and spouting off memes. Here, he can be seen throwing fellow "reaction channel" sperg Pyrocynical under the bus, too (he might have a thread here but idk).

Ethan's hypocrisy and self-righteousness are all but evident in the recent dramasperging, and the huge amount of backpedaling he's been trying to do seem to be all of the makings of a good careercow. I'm afraid I don't have too much information on Ethan's past exploits that he's managed to sweep under the rug, but with any luck we at the Farms can dig some juicy stuff up.

Kinda right, but also not really.
This is apparently a pretty big deal within the youtube "community" of youtubers like this guy, Filthy Frank, Idubbbz, pyrocynical and others in similar ranting style. And when I say "community" I mean a bunch of 13 year old fedoras who think the shit they watch on youtube is clearly the apex of entertainment and probably believe their humor is superior. As expected, this drama is pretty childish and retarded because of that.

But aside from the skirmish that's happening within the audience of these youtubers, there's not much else going on. Leafy and h3h3 seem to have decided to stop fueling the whole shitfest, and it's dying down. So there probably won't be much content in the future about this unless people decide to force it, and the majority just want to leave it like that.

So whatever it is, it might be already too late to try and spark anything up.

Ethan Klein / h3h3productions strikes me as the person who pretends to be your friend, but backstabs you whenever they need a new person to gossip about (let's face it- h3h3 is a step above a gossip channel). I wouldn't call him a lolcow at the moment but I think it can be baited out of him.

f we made those videos we would get millions of views, but that's not what we're about and that's not what our channel is about. We only ever called Leafy out on what he did publically -- we wanted to opened a dialogue that was on a lot of people's minds.

On second thought, this sounds like the rattles of a proto-SJW. I absolutely can't wait for the man's fall from grace.

I think, if anything, the recent drama is proof that Ethan is willing to stir shit up if he's feeling particularily self-reightous. A good point brought up in that third video I posted was that Ethan seems to distance himself YouTube spergs who he thinks go "too far". Leafy makes fun of a dude with autism, Ethan decides to take the high road and continue to maintain this reputation of being the "saint" of YouTube.

Beyond that, Ethan's hypocrisy is pretty evident, such as him calling out Fine Bros like everybody else was doing but going apeshit about Pyrocynical spouting off versions of his memes (which brings up a question: is it truly a meme if it's only your meme and nobody else can use it)?

I think if anything we should be watching this space. Ethan has been demonstrating some cow-like tendencies. We can only hope this cow bears milk.

He's already stumbled a bit since Leafy released the PMs between them. He's got a very proto-SJW feel to the way he's been handling the drama he's started and the way he reacts to criticism (ie: backpedaling, decrying all quotes against him as "out of context", etc etc.)

I think it also bears mentioning that most of the kids in this community are like in their 20s and Ethan's in his mid-30s or so. He's literally trying to play uncle with these people and be "more adult" when all he's succeeding in doing is stirring up shit and causing drama.

Ethan does have potential but he isn't dumb, he seems to be able to understand what things can get him in real deep shit and so far he hasn't been partaking much on the drama aside from the first video and a long rant on reddit defending himself from Leafy's last video about the issue. We'll see how far Ethan can go.

This probably isn't what we're supposed to be discussing, but the amount of salt in that response video leafy made is pretty funny. 'HE SAID I MADE BAD VIDEOS BAWWW.'

As far as the drama itself goes, it's fairly interesting. I don't think h3h3 is wrong when he says 'hey this guy's videos are pretty shitty clickbait' but the way he goes about it is pretty weird and autismal. I don't think he's wrong when he says that leafy's videos are garbage though, judging by the few things I just looked at.

Overall I think it'll just sort of be the same as most youtube drama seems to be. Some autism fired from both sides followed by the whole thing fizzling out. Good OP though, but maybe put some of the big lists of images under spoiler tags.

The funny part isn't his content. Much like other drama/careercows with threads here (Brianna Wu for example) the funny part of H3H3 is his unabashed denial of reality. These recent developments have brought out a side of him that's woefully inept and laughably out of touch with reality, which are the usual makings of the downward spiral that generates lolcows of the likes of Andrew Dobson.

Being funny isn't a requirement to be a lolcow. The unnumberable horrorcows, such as the one in the featured thread today, tell us this much. The funny part is watching them crash and burn, and then try to take that wreckage out flying again.
