the episode about visiting the Wrecking Room(a place where you pay money to smash goodwill shit with hammers and swords) was pretty dull. Everyone is extremely out of shape and exhausted as they manage to slowly break some small brik-a-brak and a photocopier, before fighting a car to a draw. Probably the only creative thing they do is trot out the Gatsby™ scooter to ram into things and it surprisingly fucks up the car and photocopier without taking damage itself; it's almost an ad for the scooter imo.

He got rich and famous because Ethan, like Rich Evans, has a very good talent for buffoonery. He can be very funny to watch stumble around, fall over, make weird noises and wobble. He's quite clownish, and when he embraces that he can actually produce some pretty good comedy. Even in his early videos where he's the voice of reason and roasting everyone, he still made fun of himself quite a bit and would usually imitate whoever he was mocking at the end as a way to illustrate their goofiness.

The problem is, unlike Rich Evans who's a skilled editor, writer and carptenter on top of a talented buffoon, Ethan's only talent is buffoonery. He's competent at nothing else, and the more he demands to be taken seriously the more stupid he looks.
